My Boy Frisco

At 4:30 this afternoon, we lost my boy Frisco at the age of 17.....as a pup, he would scratch at our lounge chair so he can lay on my chest and fall asleep to my heartbeating with his.....after a while, he'd wake up and I'd lift him off....boy, how my chest hurt......today, it was not the lounge chair, it was the chair in the vets office....again, he fell asleep on my chest, my heartbeating with his....and again, after a while, he was lifted off.....this time the pain was different...he took a piece of my heart with him.....Rest in Peace my friend, we will see each other again....love ya buddy

I know the feeling of losing a piece of your heart when you lose one who you've loved so dearly. There will always be a special part of your heart filled with so much love that is reserved just for Frisco. My little girl Ashley passed away a year ago after capturing our hearts almost seventeen years before, and I empathize with your feelings. In time, the joyful memories of your life with Frisco will overpower the pain that you are feeling. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Rick I am so, so sorry you lost Frisco. You were a devoted father for so long and I know he thought the world of you.

It's a strange feeling.....I feel the pain of the loss.....yet, relieved that he is in no discomfort.....I wasn't about to let him fall totally apart before my eyes.....we had a rough couple of days....the vet said no money in the world can help.....yet, a few hundred dollars brought relief...to him....and thats where my heart always was....for him. He will be missed, there will be more tears....but I did give him a kiss on the head and said "I love you....go to sleep", just as the needle was inserted.....happy and sad at the same time...real confusing....I'll have to write something in his memory once things settle. Thanks for the prayers. :aimeeyork

Oh I so very sorry for your loss of Frisco. He lived a long and happy life that was filled with love.
I know your heart is breaking.

What a truly wonderful father you were to your sweet Frisco. Your words brought tears to my eyes. God Bless you - and Frisco knows how much you loved him - believe me.

I'm so very sorry. Rest in Peace, Frisco. I understand your pain as I went thru the same thing almost 2 weeks ago. Sending good, healing thoughts to you.

My prayers go out to you and little Frisco. I'm sure he knows how much you loved him and that he will live forever in your heart. It's so hard to lose any of our babies especially when they live as long as Frisco. I lost my little Heidi when she was 11 days shy of 18yrs and I will never get over it.

i am so very sorry for your loss of frisco, sending my deepest sympathies. frisco is now a young pup again and your angel looking down. my sweet little nika went to the rainbow bridge last august and i know it is really hard without them. remember that love never dies and he will be in your heart forever. sending you a hug.
