Sheila, my heart is breaking for you and the family. You are in prayers and May God comfort you at this time. |
Dear Sheila and family, I know all to well of the pain you are feeling, I know the hole in your heart and I know from experience that only time will help to heal this broken heart. I lost my Sophie Lynn in Oct of 2010 and I still think of her everyday and tell her I love her every night. I now have to other fur babies but neither one of them could ever replace my Sophie Lynn, nor would I want them to. It helps me to think of her running free in the green grass at rainbow bridge. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God bless and be with you. |
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown... |
Every time I read that poem I cry and it doesn't help that I just watched "Hachi" on DVR last night. The loss of a pet is so painful it is beyond words. |
If I could do anything, to save Sydney, anything at all-no matter the financial cost-I'd have done it. The pain is so unbearable. And I know, that so many, too many, of you have felt this same pain. I'm sorry for everyone's losses of their babies, not just my own. Sheila |
I am so sorry for your loss of Sydney. I love her name! I pray that you will find comfort in the memories you have with her. :littleang |

I am so sorry to hear the loss of your dear Sydney. I know the pain you and your family are going through but take those beautiful memories and keep them close to your heart forever. Maybe Sydney has met my dear Keally at the rainbow bridge and they are playing together. Bless you and take care of. Susan |
