I am so sorry about your loss... Hannah |
Oh my gracious, that is horrible news!!! I can't even imagine your sorrow but take comfort in knowing that we are all mourning with you. I hope your heart will mend soon! |
I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for posting, I never would have thought that a baby gate could do so much damage. |
My Heart Goes Out To You I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss of your precious little Pixie. I know what it is like to cry yourself to sleep and wonder how long it will take until your heart stops aching. Having my last dog for 15 years I thought I was never going to get over it. It doesn't matter how long or how short of time you have your fury little friend.....the grief is enormous! I hope your heart comes to a place soon where you can look to the further and know you will have your baby once again and then it will be forever. My sincere condolences to you and yours.....(Give that little daughter all the love you can.......she must feel terrible....)Guilt for a child, especially in this case must be handled very, very carefully. |
I am so sorry to hear about your beloved Pixie. I really had no idea that could happen with those type of baby gates. |
So sorry to hear of your loss! How sad! You and your family are in my prayers! No one will be able to replace that spot in your heart that you had for him, but I would get another Yorkie right away. JMO Another yorkie will make you forget your sadness, and make you smile again. They have a way of doing that,as you already know! Good luck and God bless you! |
oh i am so sorry for your great loss. How is your lil girl? I will diffentley keep all of you in my prayers. Thanks for warning us of the hidden danger of the baby gates |
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. |
Thank you all for your understanding! I am amazed how many wonderful YT'er's there are! Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers. I put that post up before leaving to drive across the state to get another puppy that my friend saw advertised on Petfinder. I had tried everything else, so I figured a new yorkie would force me out of my funk. Just brought her home, so I'll let you know how we are doing. My daughter is very excited, and took the puppy to Pixie's grave out back to introduce her to her sister. How sweet is that? She also asked me if the puppy would make me happy again. That was a real eye opener-I have to start feeling better or my daughter will continue to think this is her fault, no matter how many times I tell her otherwise. |
Wonderful News I am so happy for your family ............... Please share pic's of your new baby with us as soon as possible. Oh, what wonderful news....you are now going to have another wonderful baby to love. It's so sad to lose a baby but we must go on until we meet again....You have done the right thing and have learned as we all have.......Enjoy you new family member...Best of Luck to you all. |

I'm very sorry you lost Pixie like that, I hope you enjoy your new lil Yorkie though ;) |
The new puppy Well guys, here's the thing, the lady who sold her was calling her "Dixie" which I fell pretty weird about since it is so close to Pixie. So we are trying to decide a name. I hope I've done the right thing bringing her into the home. She is only 6 weeks old and the last of her litter to leave. I tried to get the breeder to keep her for a few more weeks, but she basically said now or never. She is not eating as well as the lady said, but we stopped and got some puppy formula & soft food & I ALWAYS have a tube or two of Nutrical around, so I am sure we'll manage. We are leaning toward the name Gidget, what do you guys think? I don't know how to add a picture in here!?! |
Oh My... That is terrible. I am so sorry for your lose. |
