Goodbye Alexander Bonny, As I cry reading your post, and all that have replied, I am praying for you. I have only been a member for a short time compared to so many here, but to know there are so many that truely feel the love that we have for our furbabies is such a retreat to me. A lot of people just don't understand. That is certainly not the case here. Everyone here literally feels your pain. I pray that you are comforted by God, by the many friends, family and other furbabies in your life, and by all the wonderful memories of your beloved Alex. We are first time Yorkie parents (& it took a lot of begging to get my husband to agree to get one, but now he loves her so much), he recently said to me that some day he is going to be mad at me because he knows that there will come a day when we are going to have to say goodbye to her. I am going to keep one of the posts that was written to you for that day, because I think it will help us both: ..."if I had only known how it would end, I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance." What a beautiful quote! God bless you and know that you are being thought of and prayed for... With heartfelt sympathy |
