Toby (aka Tink) Crossed Over To Rainbow Bridge Today
 

I learned today that one of my Foster Boy's, Toby (aka Tink) has passed away today at the age of twelve years old.

Toby was eleven years old when I began fostering him last September. Right before Christmas last year, Santa Claus gave him the best gift of all...a furever Momma who adopted him! Just so Toby wouldn't be lonely, Toby's new Momma also adopted another YTNR senior :aimeeyorkgirl, Cyndi (aka Mandy) at the same time ;)

Toby had been struggling with blindness & hearing loss plus, he had a history of bladder problems. Combined with all of that and a worn out spine & then developing pneumonia two weeks ago...his Momma & their Veterinarian made the decision to let Toby go home today to Rainbow:rbyorkie:Bridge.

I am sad to know his stay was so short but, I am also so happy to know that I kept my commitment to him to find a Momma who would love him & care for him the way he deserved.

Sorry for your loss. For loving and caring for him until you could find him a forever home during the final phase of his life, you are his angel.

Toby was so lucky to have found love in his ripe old age! I'm sorry for your loss and you were his angel on earth.

I'm sad to hear that Tink crossed over to the bridge. You were a wonderful foster momma to him.

I've always said he was the best lookin' senior I've ever seen! He still looked 3 years old! He was lucky to find Lynne, but luckier still to have found YOU, my friend :love: :angel:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, but so grateful that there are people like you and Lynne who open up your homes and hearts to these little rescues. Rest in Peace Toby.

I never imagined I'd be posting a thread here anytime soon...but, here I am...one of those who dreams our lil' ones will never leave us! ;)

I thank you all for your kind sentiments and I will pass them all along to Lynne...she is really the one who deserves them!
