Thanks for the story LadyJane. It's beautiful. And I understand that Jackson is waiting for her and preparing. It's just not possible to tell a terminally ill person that her dog is waiting for in heaven. Nobody wants to admit they are near death, even if it's already been accepted. It's just an incrediblly spritual story that I think one day will end happy....just not yet. |
My prayers are with your friend. This is so sad. I think just being there for her right now and just listening is the best thing you can do. |
OMG as God is my witness, a miracle has just occurred. The details of the story are not quite clear yet, but Jackson is alive and home. Here goes: My friend's friend took Jackson over to play with her new puppy. For whatever reason, the dogs were outside in the backyard playing and nobody else was home. The friend was at work. The friend's son was on his way home, hit a white and black puppy in his car and killed it. He brought the puppy home, saw that Jackson had dug a hole and was gone. He put 2+2 together and realized he hit and killed Jackson. He called his mom, explained what happened and then he buried the dog in their backyard. Today, a neighbor of the friend called my friend's friend and said she saw a black and white dog walking about a mile away by the train tracks that looked like the dog she saw in her backyard the other day. My friend's friend went to look for that dog and thought it could very well be Jackson. So she took the dog to my friend's house, opened the front door and brought this disgusting dirty, ragged puppy into the house. He ran full speed to my friend & devoured her with kisses. This was indeed Jackson. Now we don't know who's dog was killed & feel sad for the owner. This is a miracle & it's quite possible that my friend is now going to have the best few weeks of the rest of her life. Can you believe this???? Thank you everyone for their kind and positive thoughts. When my friend passes on, rest assured that Jackson will continue to have the best life possible with me. |
:yay_jump: OMG! That is awesome news for Jackson and his mommy!!! This is unbelievable!! TG he was seen and found. RIP the little one that was hit and buried. At least he didn't suffer. I am so happy for your friend!! :cheer: |
OMG I am just speechless. |
1 Attachment(s) I'm in shock. This is really crazy. Below is a photo of Jackson passed out in front of the fan. It must have been a very tough few days |
I believe in Miracles and this is truly one - I am so happy for your friend and this just made my day :) |
Oh my God. I don't even know what to think. What a spectrum of emotions your friend must be experiencing right now. Obviously, there is a higher plan in all of this. |
I read this yesterday and walked away from the computer in tears. It is so heartbreaking and I'll be praying for your friend and for you too. What a terrible tragedy. Hugs to you. |

OMGoodness! How amazing! I am thrilled for your friend and for little Jackson. I hope they find the owner of the poor little pup they buried. This will break their hearts, but at least they won't be forever wondering what happened to their baby. |
All i can say is OMG!!!! Im so happy for your friend. Hopeing a miracle for her as well |
With God all things are possible, I am sure this is a blessing to your friend and everyone involved. Maybe God will work miracles for your friend and heal her completely or give her more time. Everyone involved is in my prayers, including the person who lost their puppy. |
OMGosh! What a miracle to behold! I am thrilled to hear this news and think of your friend with her baby once again. I will keep praying for her healing. This is SO amazing! Thanks for giving me such a lift! Hugs to you! |
I thought it would be appropriate to change the name of the thread. Jackson (oops it's actually Jaxon) visited the vet today just to be certain. He is a perfectly healthy 5 month old baby boy! (whoops thought 1 year). |

All Pets Go To Heaven Quote:
I also believe and know that our pets go to heaven (home, the other side) when they die. There is a book called All Pets Go To Heaven by Sylvia Browne that I read at least 10 times after losing my Miniature Schnauzer a year ago. It helped so much to take away at least some of the heart break. I know that when I go home to the Other Side that my Abby will be the first one waiting for me. |
Wow, just seeing this for the first time, and I was puzzled by the thread title. Had to read it all to make sense, and all I can say is Thank God.... and now we can all still:hands: pray for your friend. If only she could have a miracle too. |
OH wow. I am soo glad jacksons alive. That was such a sad story. I was almost crying thinking how your poor friend was going to be miserable for her last days. I know I would be. Must have been an answered prayer. |
