Oh I am so sorry. It seem so senseless to lose your little Sofie after only such a short time. But I believe God brought her to you for a reason; perhaps she had something to teach you in her short little lifetime. I believe she's running free now at Rainbow Bridge and you will see her again.

I know exactly how you are feeling & my heart breaks for you! My Essie was born March 13, 2008 and passed on August 13, 2008. She was exactly 5 months old to the day. I sold her to a lady in July when she was 4 months old, very reluctantly as she had been my only baby from that litter & it broke my heart when she left. I cried as I held her in my arms for the hour long drive to meet the new mother & cried unconsolably on the hour drive back.

On August 13, 2008...I received an EMAIL:eek: stating that MY precious baby had died undergoing a spay surgery! I was in utter & total shock! (Even tho Essie was no longer mine, I always have considered myself as their number #1 mom) How could someone so callously & coldly inform me in an email that my baby died? She had went into shock, the idiot vet gave her a shot to try & revive her, her her poor lil heart was too weak. What sick vet would dare spay a 5 month old barely 4# yorkie baby in the first place!:mad: I was both furious with the new mother & the vet:mad:. I immediately called her to find out more details & why she had sent an email instead of calling. She said she didn't know how to tell me over the phone:confused:

It is still so very hard for me to look at her pics without balling, it was so senseless for this precious baby to die so young:mad:

Sorry for my story, it's just so heartbreaking to hear about babies so young, I am crying along with you sweetie! ((huge hugs))

I'm so sorry for your loss. My daughter lost her pup to liver shunt also..almost the same way. She was fine one minute and by evening she was sick. She had always wanted a yorkie so when she moved out we bought her one...she only had her for a month.....she was devastated to say the least! Know that our prayers are with you during this time.
