I am so sorry you are going through this. I know oh so well the pain you are feeling. I just lost my little Harley a week ago. He lost his life way to early at the age of 1 year and 4 months. It has been so devastating for me and my family. Hugs go out to you!!

Please accept my condolences. I know what you are going through as I lost my little baby Chi in October. I collapsed, ending up hospitalized overnight. I have no memory of getting to the hospital, even when my family tells me of the event.

I had my dog cremated (I've never done that before) and her ashes are in a nice little box that is now in her toy box. People sent me a poem entitled Rainbow Bridge.

My heart goes out to you and your family.

Thank you so much to all who wrote. The loss was almost more than we could bare. I called the breeder that we got Killer from crying and asked her if she had any babies from either of his parents. She said no but she had two females from one ofher favorite dogs. So now we have Baby she is 11wks. and has certainly brought alot of laughter and joy to us.

I feel so sad for you. My little Kaz is very sick and can't imagine losing him. He is almost 11 yrs old. You should get another one right away. Yorkies are the best!

I'm so glad to read that you have a new baby! She won't replace the one you lost, but she will certainly make it so much easier to get through the tough times! Enjoy her! :)

I've been through this myself years ago, I'm so sorry. Chloe quickly darts out the door when opened too and I'm trying to train her otherwise for the very same reason.

Know that you are in our thoughts...

So sorry for your lost. I had just recently lost a yorkie baby that was all mine. It broke my heart. Time will help mend all wounds. What I had to do to fill the void because I started to become really depressed over it was get another baby that looked very similar to my Lexie that I lost.

She hasn't replaced her but has filled that void of pain that just couldn't go away. "Rip Little one... Lexie will play with you."

I'm so sorry about your Killer but I'm glad you were able to get another puppy. It does help lessen the pain. My little girl went to the bridge two years ago and I wish I could have gotten another one. I was hit by a car myself and knocked unconscious. I didn't feel a thing as it was so quick. I hope it was the same for Killer.
