Amazing story. I cant explain it because my yorkie has only been missing for almost 4 weeks. Hugs to you and your wife. There will never be a replacement but as you probably know already, you will love again and those furbabies will love you back so much. I felt terrible, terrible guilt over bringing a new one to our home. This little girl, well she's 3 yrs old. I slept the entire night lastnight for the first time and my hubby said I was so knocked out that I snored! You will still miss your little guy but your new additions will love you so very much and find a way into your hearts again. Gen |
Life Goes on Just an update. We still miss Coco but we indeed got another male _ Nicky. He is so different from Coco but such a joy. He was such a help in getting through the grief. We have learned many things from him. The most important was; trying to keep a male and female yorkie in the same house and keep them from mating is pretty much impossible! Tiffany is now fixed! Now we can buy a new carpet! Thanks to all and may you all find comfort and solace in your loss. |
What a sad but lovely story of the love for Coco and the love between Phoenix and ubunnyfeet. Thank you for sharing. Wishing all the best to your family. |

Was a lovely but sad story...... |
i am truly sorry for your loss of coco. i know tiffany had a broken heart as did you & your wife. we lost our beautiful nika last august and i have her yorkie mother zowi was also devastated! so i absolutely do agree that they feel the pain of the loss. it's been 7 months since nika's passing and we still think about her and miss her so much everyday. she will always have a special place in our hearts and so will your coco in yours. i am happy you brought another baby into your home and niki has brought joy back into your lives. you can never bring back or replace a lost love but it does help to have a new love. we adopted a new female puppy last october, pixie, from a humane society about 6 hours from our home. after a couple weeks i saw a bond growing between zowi and pixie that melted my heart and has brought back some happiness to us. nika lives on forever in my heart never forgotten as i'm sure your coco does. thanks for sharing your story and i'm glad it has a happy ending... i bet their pups have brought so much joy and happiness. i'm sure coco is smiling down. our furbabies past and present are such a blessing. i'm sure nika and coco have made friends at rainbow bridge. i know they are in great company of so many yorkie angels waiting for us to meet again someday. take care! |
I'm so sorry for the loss of Coco. What a tragic accident. :( I lost my first Yorkie when he was only 5 months old and the pain that followed was terrible. Poor Tiffany. :( Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. RIP sweet Coco. |
