Dear Bandit....
 

You are all going to think i've lost it by the time you're done, :p but i really think that more than any one, its you guys who will understand. :) if i could talk to bandit, one last time, this is what i would say..


Dear Bandit,
Hi baby. i can't believe its been almost 5 months since we lost you. I love and miss you everyday, and think about you almost constantly.i always tell tucker about you. i know that if you were here you would just love him. a lot of the things he does remind me very much of you. he always beats up rusty, just like you did, it always makes me laugh.
I know you werent with us for very long, but the time you were here you completly changed me. i think i'm a lot more patient and understanding now, i'm also a lot more careful. i know that just because someone sounds like they know everything, doesn't mean they do. like the man we bought you from, i feel so awful for listening to him, and believing what he told us. i hope that in the short life you lived we made some sort of a difference. i can never repay you for how much you have given me.
The pain has gotten so much less, but its still there. especially these last few days. i haven't even been able to look at your picture without getting teary eyed. baby i want you to know, we may have gotten another baby, but he can't replace you. there will always be a small hole in my heart, and the piece that belongs to you. you touched everyone around you while you were here. even your cousin donna misses you, though she was against getting you from a petstore, she loved you, and cried when she heard what happened. all the neighbors were sad too. like chris's mom, and debbie was heart broken when she found out.
I know you are at the rainbow bridge now. i am thankful that you are no longer in pain, and that you can run and romp as you please. take care of all the other doggies and kitties who come to play for a while too, until their beloved master comes to retrieve them. i know that i'll be with you some day again.
I love you bandit, and i know we'll meet again...someday.

That is very sweet Megan. I'm sure Bandit enjoyed his time with your family when he was with you. And very cute that you tell Tucker about his would-be brother.

Oh Megan your thread brought tears to my eyes just reading the first line. I miss my harriet as well.Its coming up 1 year in nov and the pain is still raw just as it must be for you.(dianne and prudence)

That was so sweet and truthful. Already crying,,, too early for that.
We only have them for such a short time, thats why they make such a big impact so soo. ( xspecially on our hearts) ;)

Way to go...trying to make me cry first thing in the morning!! J/K :) I am so sorry for your loss and can't imagine how hard it has to be...even after 5 months...and of course you made a difference in Bandits life....it sounds like you loved him VERY much!!

Megan you are not crazy. Bandit was so fortunate to have someone like you to love him, even though he had such a short time with you. Your paths will cross again someday. RIP Bandit.

Megan nobody will think your crazy. I'm just so glad he had the time he did to spend with you and your wonderful family.

Megan, you are a precious, precious child and you have me crying. I felt so much
like you when I lost my Molly and I agree there is always a hole in your heart for
one you love. So glad you have Tucker!!

Megan , you are not crazy .

You should see the number of letters I wrote since Zsa Zsa is at rainbow bridge . Sometimes these letters are very sad , other times they are joyful , I consider them as a therapy .

megan you are not crazyyourvery warm kind person, all though bandit wasnt with you long what time he did have was special to YOU both, and always remember his at rainbow bridge with all the other animals waiting for there loved ones to come

my Katrina (mis spell) well when I first came on here, I thought the message we
sent people was a personal post and I told some person that I would send her

Oh Megan - I was crying reading that - Bandit knows you love him. Just remember that - he DOES know it and that was so special. That was a truly great tribute to your little RB Angel and he heard every word....you're very sweet honey ...Bandit WAS special and loved - he did get what all dogs want....and now he's just waiting for you...but in the meantime he wants you to love other babies and you are doing just that. He's very happy.
