Missing my doggies Missing my two yorkies who passed several months ago. Found this site and thought it might be a nice place to come. My little girl of 14 years suddenly developed a heart valve problem. My little guy passed two weeks later. He was 17. Tests indicated he had pancreatitis. That part made no sense as he was on KD Hill and veggies only for the past 3 1/2 years. I think he just missed her too much. Missing them terribly, but I am not ready for another. |
Oh that's just awful...losing one is hard enough but 2 within a couple weeks of each other.....how devastating!!!! I'm so sorry for you losses.....sounds like you had many many years of wonderful memories with your babies... Hopefully soon...when your heart is healed a bit you can bring another one into your life! And make new memories. WELCOME to YT!! It's a great place for friendship....advice...and just support if that's what you need!!! |
I said I wasn't ready either then this little rescue Yorkie popped up. I am so glad we got her, but at the time I didn't think I was ready. |
Thank you. All good things happen when they are supposed to happen. |
I'm so sorry about the loss of your babies. I'm glad you found YT - it's been such a great place for advice, support, tears and laughter for many of us. Welcome!!! |
I'm so sorry for your loss. I too discovered YT after losing my 13 year old Yorkie to cancer. YT helped me to move on. I enjoyed looking at everybodies pictures and reading about their babies. After a couple of months I found that I wanted another Yorkie and I found Piper. I'm so glad that she has come into my life. Welcome to YT! |
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Give yourself time to grieve. You will know when the time is right to let another little furry one (or two!) into your life. Meanwhile, take good care of yourself..:big_hug: |
Oh my........the thought of losing any one of my yorkie babies is hard enough, but two so close together??? I can only imagine the pain you feel and am so sorry you are going through this. But, it is something we will all have to face someday. It is great to have this website and our Yorkie Talk family for love, understanding, and support. Hugs to you.......... |
I fully understand how you are feeling right now. Harley D died 1/16/08, DJ a week later 1/23/08 (see their pictures in the album) from kidney problems. It is difficult to lose one but to have two go to the rainbow bridge so close together is even more difficult. Take comfort in knowing that they had long and loving lives with you and your family. You are at the right place, YT, where people will help you through. You will know when you are ready for another little furbie. |
Thank you all. Your kindness is fully appreciated. We have hearts full of love after raising two special doggies though blindness, hearing loss, tumors, kidney failure and more. We were so good at it that we thought we could get them through anything. They were old and we were very blessed to have them as long as we did. |
feeling your pain I know jut how you feel, Jan.1st of 07 I lost my Sabrina 13 and Feb 13th of07 I lost my Chelsea and in July I lost my last one July 07. My dgt who lives with me just lost her Scottie right after Thanksgiving of 08, how sad,my dgt. still had Winston when I got April at 7wks, she was young, but she did great, she is the love of my life.We have 7 urns in our tv room, we still miss them, but my April helped a lot. I am so sorry for your loss, it is a very difficult time for you, I feel your pain and I my Chelsea was almost 15. I think is hard no matter what, but the longer you have them, the pain is so deep.Time does help and hope you find 0ne or two that you can love as much. It really does give you something to care for and you will love them too, |
