RIP Our Precious Baby Buster Brown
 
We were so uneducated when we bought Buster. We bought him from a pet store and he was only 7 weeks old. Much too young to be away from him mommy. We only had him 5 days but, in those five days we bonded with him, loved him, took care of him, took him to the vet several times, got up every two hours to force feed him, and now we feel like a piece of our heart is missing. He will forever be remembered and loved. We miss him so much! He had a very loving personality even though he was so sick. May he never feel any pain and I know he is in a better place!!

I am so sorry for your lost. I got my yorkie 5days ago and she is not eating I brouth her to the vet a few time. last night one vet said he did not think she was going to make it thouth the night. my daughter cried so much but I just keep feeding her. what did the pet store say.

Is she still not eating? What did the vet say might be wrong? Make her eat! If you have to get a syringe and force feed her do it! Take her back to the vet if your not satisfied with what they said get another opinion. Please don't give up on her. Did you get her from a pet store? Our pet store gave us our money back but, it didn't make up for the pain that we felt when we lost our baby Buster. How long has it been since she ate? Is she walking around or is she real shaky and weak?

yes she is walking and smelling around. the vet said she was going to die over night but she is still here. he said he thinks she might have a stunt. but the breeder said she was fine when she left her and was running around. she sleeps a lot. but she will cry when she need to go to the bathroom.

If she has a Liver Shunt, she can survive, but she would need to have corrective surgery...I can't help but worry for you. Did the Vet suggest keeping her at the hospital to try and save her? Does the breeder want her back to try and save her? Gosh, if the Vet thinks a Liver Shunt, I think you should maybe try to get her to a Specialist ASAP. :(

What food is she eating? Can you get some L/D wet from the Vet to entice her to eat alittle. Also, maybe try to feed her some watermelon, or a little mashed white or sweet potatoes.

This is exactly what happened to us. He would cry when he had to go to the bathroom and if you feed him carb and nutri cal he would be able to walk but not great. My wife and I are no experts for sure but start a thread under sick puppies and these guys will help you through it!! IF WOOGIE MAN TELLS YOU TO GET HER HELP GOOO GET HER HELP!!!!!!!!!! Im just gonna be honest! You need to find a great vet that is not gonna let her sit around for hour with nothing and will take care of her and take her there NOW!! If could mean the difference in life or death!! Even though our little boy died at the vet he is still the only one that can help you. If you don't get help it might be your last night with your little girl!!! Take it from our experience. It has only been 14 hours since our little boy past. We thought the same thing. He was walking "not great but better then normal" and al long as we kept him carbed up he was fine. If the doc has to do blood work and makes him fast for more than 5 hours it could be your last!! This is serious!!!!!!!!:(

I am sorry for your loss. He became a part of our YT family even if he wasn't with us very long.

Buster can continue to teach people who question why buying from a pet shop is a bad idea. I know I will refer newbies to your thread.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

I too have a Buster Brown and I can't imagine losing him or any of my furbabies.

You did everything you could to save him and although he was with you for only a short time he had lots of love and care.

It has been one week today that we lost our little one. Even though we only had him for a very short time we loved him and still miss him everyday. I still question if there was something more we could have done for him. I feel like getting the word out about these puppy mills and educating as many people as we can on why they should never buy from a petstore is a good start. We have found a new little one that needs his forever home. We are supposed to pick him up Saturday. We are very excited but, the excitement is bittersweet because we are still grieving for Buster. We will never forget him. This experience has taught us some life lessons. Thanks to everyone who has supported us with advise and heartfelt messages.

Michelle just know that you did what you could and you gave him a loving home in his final days. He came into your lives for a reason and take the good away with that. I am happy to hear you are going to be opening your home and hearts again to another lucky puppy! Congratulations and enjoy your new baby!!
