Diego, I'm so glad you got the courage to start this thread. You have so many friends here that understand your loss. Really you are right, it seems like you have a hole in your heart and maybe that is what they take with them for their memories. I know you will see Nathan again and I pray you find peace my dear friend, you have been so good to your little ones. Hugs and prayers coming.:big_hug:

I was looking for this when I posted before and just found it.

HEAVEN'S DOGGY-DOOR
My best friend closed his eyes last night,
As his head was in my hand.
The Doctors said he was in pain,
And it was hard for him to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And OH...his many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

Hi Diego, I am so very sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Nathan. I understand about missing him and I truly understand about the big hole in your heart. I am so sorry to hear about little Nathan. I lost two last year/08... one month apart.

I sincerely believe that we will meet up with them again when we too pass over.

Group *Diego* Candles - Light A Candle

If you would like to light a candle for Nathan, I started a group called
"Diego" because there were only five spaces but asked for prayers for Nathan.

Thinking of you today and hope each day gets a little easier.

The group is still "Diego" but I feel it's those that Nathan left behind are the ones who need the prayers. Nathan run free, since God made you I feel he has you in his care and is enjoying more smiles every day.
