Spike, my little man, is gone I can't believe it's just over a month that my little man, Spike, has passed. I think about him constantly every day. My crying is lessening and I continue to smile at his memories but it's still so hard to wake up every morning without him there. I visit this site everyday as a reminder of him and all the other yorkies. I made a donation of needed items to my local shelter in his name. I at least have his ashes here (along with his other sisters ashes) where I feel he is still here with me in the house. I wish you all a happy holiday and thanks for this site so I feel I have a place to go to remember spike. jenny - spike's mom:aimeeyork Spike you will always be my boy. My heart has a big hole in it that will never be filled. I miss u. |
I'm so sorry for you loss. In time, the pain will be less and less. He is there with you in your home, and he will always be there. |
im so sorry sweetie for your loss, i cant imagine your pain.. may god help you heal.. sending you hugs |
1 Attachment(s) I'm so sorry for your loss and I know how you feel. We lost our Mitzi in June this year and it still hurts. When I look at my M&Ms playing and having fun I always think how wonderful it would be if she could be just amongst them all and enjoy her life. Her ashes are in a little box with her statue on top and her portrait above in a special niche overlooking the living room so I can imagine her being here and watching over us.... |
With our talks, I am still having the same problems you are with Spike as I am with Toby. I thought it would get easier but I am finding that it just isn't. We'll get through it, its just going to take a very long time. |
I am so sorry for your loss. My yorkie was attacked and killed a few months ago. I spread his ashes. It was to painful to keep them in the house and look at the ashes. |
I'm sorry for your loss, I too am having a very hard time as my girl just went to the bridge yesterday morning. I pray that it gets easier for you with each passing day. |
Lost my Little Bit of N-No-Cents and Sweet N-No-Cents this year. Newbie, here. Hope this posts correctly.:scratchhe I used to breed/sell yorkies and ended up with 4 when it was all over! My first yorkie, Sweet N-No-Cents (aka Scooter) blessed us with 3 litters of 6 pups each. We kept the smallest female from first litter and named her Little Bit of N-No-Cents (aka Little Bit). Little Bit had just one pup, and we fell in love with him - kept him - of course!:tongue2: Named him Little Bit's Best Man (aka Little Man). Then Scooter had her last pup and he was born with undescended testicles - hence he is NOT registered and we call him Bubba! :bleh: But love him just the same! Well, we lost Little Bit in January at age 14 due to heart problems. Then, early November we lost Scooter at age 16 due to old age, strokes, cataracts - and we had to put her down. Now, Little Man (12) is fighting for his life with Red Mange (see my post). And, Bubba - well, he is just fine and loving life as usual. - Gotta love him! But our hearts still ache daily for Little Bit and Scooter. I know how you feel and my heart aches with you. I get some relief from the heartache by thinking of all the days we played and laughed with these precious 'gifts from God' and that helps a lot. Just concentrate on all the good days and take time to smile about them. :bighug: |
I'm so sorry, will keep you in my prayers. It hurts sooo much. |
My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your loss. |
Hi - and thank you for your reply. Little Man is doing so much better - (Red Mange). But he smells SO BAD!! His entire body, head, legs, and tail (we never clipped his tail!! He uses it like a Spanish dancer's fan to flirt with the ladies!!) The vet said I cannot bathe or get him wet until his entire course of Mitaban dips is complete and all the mites are gone - that may take another 2-4 wks!! Our entire home smells of sour dog odor - kinda like sweaty dirty socks!! And I keep my 2 2-yr old granddaughters 5 days a week and they are all over the carpeted area that Little Man loves to rub on! Oh well. But at least he is better and ALIVE! Have a Happy New Year and, again, TY for the post! Donna aka grannystreet |
