I am SO sorry to hear about Beagan. It's our worst nightmare, I understand... You want to turn back time, but all we can do is grieve, cry, and yes grow. I just lost my 6 yr old "Hope" this past month to a VERY sudden illness. I find it so difficult to come home because she's not laying at my feet for her belly scratch as soon as I enter the house, not running up her puppy steps to get to the couch and on my lap and kiss, kiss, kiss, and cocking her adorable face with each discussion she and I had... The tears won't go away for a long time.

i had a dream like that too and became my wost fear so its very ironic that this has happened

recently i had a dream that the same thing happened but he was congnitive enough to give me kisses before he passed. so maybe that's his way of saying goodbye :confused::(

thank you for your condolences everyone. it is great to be in touch with people whom understand the loss of your baby

things are getting better, but the better they get the worse i feel. i keep having dreams and everything around the house reminds me of him. i sleep with his favorite chew toy and got his last baby tooth (which happened to be a k9) extracted and put on a necklace that i wear everyday. i miss him more than anything. its hard to adjust your daily routine without including him. there has not been a day since his death i have not though about him all day

i feel so silly losing sleep and mourning this much about a 'dog'. but the unexpected is always the hardest and when he is part of your family -- its even harder

Oh hun, don't you EVER feel "silly" to feel the pain and loss of your precious little one.....Beagan was someone you loved dearly, the species doesn't matter... his death leaves a heartache no one can heal but his love leaves memories no one can steal......

I have a very difficult time coming to this section, I have lost my little one who was very dear to me also and it was sooo unexpected too, so I can surely feel the depth of your pain in my heart.......Please just let it flow, I cried for weeks.... I still get sooo sad sometimes thinking how I was robbed of the years ahead with him....

May our Lord God bless you and protect you each day and may your precious Beagan R.I.P....

I'm so sorry for your loss. How devastating, for the both of you. He will live in your heart forever. Take it 1 day at a time. I wish you to both find peace ,and when you're ready maybe you can get another little one,sometimes it helps. God bless you both.

my fiance got me another yorkie... but a female. she is the cutest thing with a little attitide, but we just do not click.

I know what you/re going through. I lost my Chancie, June 18th, my birthday. He got off his lead when he saw a stray cat in our yard and chased it right in front of a car. The driver never even stopped. I had a real hard time with his loss. He was my little entertainer, went to the office with me everyday..everyone loved him. Dancie Chancie was what we called him.. He was my Annabelles "husband" though Annabelle was diagnosed as unable to conceive, immature ovaries, lack of progesterone...the list went on. Annabelle is 4 yrs. old. About 4 wks after Chancies death, Annabelle tried jumping on my lap and wasn't able to get up on the couch. I picked her up and thought, we really need to cut back on your treats. I looked at her stomach and thought "she looks pregnant". I took her to the vet the very next day and x-rays revealed 2 babies. This was my miracle that Chancie left me before he left this world. The babies, a little boy and girl are now 8 wks old and I can see so much of Chancie in their comedian attitude. I still have bouts of crying for my little guy and can only hope it will get better with time. I wish the same for you.

welcome to YT! i am so sorry about your Chancie... it is really a downer to lose your baby. the driver that hit my boy didn't stop either... i think it was for the better because i may have commited murder at that point in time. i am still heartbroken, but i had his last baby tooth(which happened to be a k9) extracted and put on a necklace and i guess it gives me a sense that he is right by my heart everyday. i am also tracking down his father (from his pedegree) to see if he is still breeding. i want a brother of his...

Deblangs, wow that is absolutely amazing, fall0317. I hope things get better for you. My heart goes out to you. My little Chi guy was killed while in the care of a friend while I was at work. I hope things work out for you.
