How very, very sad and heart breaking. :(

Elaine, I can't stop the tears. This is too much for anyone who loves animals the way we do. I'm so glad you decided to post this RIP thread, it is a beautiful memorial to your little Jersey Girl.:aimeeyork Just know you did the right thing and Jersey had a wonderful life as short as it was.:cry:

I am so sorry for your loss, Elaine:( I well remember all you went thru with your precious Newman and I can't imagine how devastated you must be about Jersey.

Sometimes the best thing to do is the hardest thing to do, but you did it and Jersey is healthy and happy playing with Newman.

I am so sorry about your loss of Jersey girl. We know you did the right thing for her but it is always hard to do what is best. Prayers and healing thoughts are going out to you from north Georgia. Please don't stay away from YT as you have many good friends here. Sometimes it helps more to be able to talk about what is wrong in life.

I am so sorry Elaine for you two terrible loss in such a short time. But please remember that you gave the LOVE that little jersey girl can ever ask for. Sometimes we don't understand why things happen the way it did but I believe that God knew and He wanted to Jersey Girl to be at a home where the Love you provided her (even thou a short time) is more than some will receive a life time! Believe in the fact she is in heaven with Newman and my little Dior. They are all chasing each other and having the best time. They are no longer suffering and they have a earthly family who still sends them ton of love each and everyday. Now, you have two little angels who watches over you ...... You are blessed in everyway! I am sending you lots of hugs and prayers.

He said it's hard to fix the brain and usually when symptoms start like this it is too late. We put our little girl to rest yesterday and this is the first I am able to write.

My husband and I could not bring ourselves to tell her sons. They went through so much just a year ago with our Newman. Instead of telling them the truth we told them that we found Jersey a great home with the vet tech. that she lived a lone and had no other pets and Jersey loved her. I just couldn't tell them the truth.

I don't know when I'll be back on YT. I just can't bring myself to even go on the computer right now but wanted to let everyone know that Jersey is in a better place now. Her brother Newman is looking out for her and she's at peace. I pray that I can find peace with all of this. I always thought that putting Newman down would be the hardest thing I had to do but now a year later having to put down the little girl who was to ease our pain and at only 17 months old has just destroyed us.

Oh, I'm so sorry you went through this; it's truly heart breaking. I think you did the right thing about not telling the boys until they are older; it would have been impossible for them to fully understand your decision. My prayers are with you and your family.

This just seems so sad and unfair, and my heart aches for you. Prayers and hugs are going your way.

Darn it...how utterly heartbreaking. I am more than sorry for your loss...I am devastated. I was thinking about you...and Newman the other day...knowing you were going thru the anniversary of his death, I shed a tear...said a silent prayer...and now this...Oh my dear God, what can I possibly say. Please know that I sincerely care...Jersey will rest in peace...as will Newman...and they both have etched a very special place within your heart that can never be erased. I extend my deepest, utmost sympathy.
