Sometimes the hardest decisions are also the most loving.

I understand and trust me...it gets easier....just not as quickly as you'd like.

I am just seeing this and I am so sorry, These little guys are counting on us when the time comes to let them go and you did the right thing for Scooter. I will remember you and your family in my prayers R.I.P. little Scooter.

Oh I am so sorry - now he is resting in peace with no pains or problems but poor you have to carry on without him. I "lost" the love of my life 13 years ago and still haven't recovered completely despite the fact that I now have two Yorkies who I adore. The youngest has helped most, she is mine and mine alone as was my poor Abigail whereas the older one doesn't like anyone much except my husband. Another baby will come along in due course to help you heal. Meanwhile my thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your post brought tears to my eyes, as I can imagine the pain you are going through. Remember the wonderful years that you had together, that is what is most important.

I haven't been on YT in awhile and just now saw this. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious little Scooter. I pray that the wonderful memories you have of him will help you through this difficult time. When I had to put my two Yorkies to sleep I also thought that I could never love another one as much as them. The loss in your heart never goes away but time does lessen the pain. I now have two new Yorkies (my male is a Scooter, too) and I love them to pieces. Take time to heal but don't give up on loving another again. I will keep you in my prayers.

Shirl, I am so so sorry for your loss of precious little Scooter. I can tell from your post that he was your heart. That video from Ada brought tears to my eyes remembering my babies that have gone. I know they are at the rainbow bridge waiting for me and it will be a happy reunion some day. Please know that I join with you in mourning your precious little baby. ~ Jean

I've had to make that decision too, and you were right. He was so loved, you were so loved. Just know they'll be with us in heaven and what fun we'll have. You lost a piece of your family, and it just takes time to get over that. All best wishes to you and yours,
