I haven't been on for awhile been so busy traveling with the kids and doing outdoor stuff.I did see this post today though and had to read it through.How horrible to have to go through that.I don't have a pond but I a few wks. ago put a kiddie pool up for my kids to play in.It is the hard plastic ones with the slide.Just yesterday Jasper took a running jump and got in the pool with the kids.I watch the kids really well when they are outside but I never thought about doing the same with Jasper or the other dogs for that matter.Since reading this I will keep a closer eye on them.I feel for you and hope it gets easier in time.I will be thinking of you often and praying for your heart to heal.

i know how you feel to the core of my being. Its been more than a year since my baby gone to be with the Lord in a very tragic situation.... and I still cry when I think of him... just like it happened. I guess when we loved so deeply we don't get over losing them. I learned to accept that the pain will be there to remind us how deeply we loved. This is not a bad thing right? Their little paw prints remains in our hearts....but I do pray you will open your heart for the little one who is in your lap. She has been assign to you for very special reason... it may be the healing you need. To love is never a bad thing.... and especially to give love.

I am just seeing this, I am so so sorry. Don't blame yourself, if anything blame the wind and the storm, you even had a chain link fence to protect them. The pain is just so very hard. Hugs, Joan

I am soooooo sorry for your loss. Just don't feel it's your fault under any circumstances. You are abviously an animal heart felt person to have the enjoyment of fish as well as your sweet babies. I too just lost our sweet baby Lilli 2 nights ago. I am soo sorry for you. You are in my prayers.

I am so so sorry for the loss of your little ones. I lost my little one tragically last year in June. I can feel what you are going through. I will keep you in my prayers.

I am sorry for you loss also .. I know its important to my own healing to admit that this time of year I feel the loss stronger
