I am in absolute tears to think I could have missed this. You know how I have told you how much I loved that little doll but I did not know he was 17. I know exactly what you mean about having an empty feeling that is so difficult to express. I thought my loss at 14 years was something but you are so young and to have her all your life:cry: You are in my prayers sweetie, time will make it better for all of us who have lost our best friends.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor: those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent: his eager body begins to quiver. Yes, I believe Darlin will always be alive in your heart...When you love something so much, even when they are gone in the physical they are always still very much alive in our heart and spirit. I am sorry you no longer have her, just remember you can close your eyes and see her and the sweet memories she has left with you..god bless you!

This is so hard - especially having had his love for 17 years, what a blessing - the heartache is difficult to bear. I can only promise you that it will get easier in time. When someone says that, you think there is no way that will happen, but it will. You will then be able to enjoy your precious memories of your dear baby. Meantime you have us to turn to in your sorrow. We grieve with you. We will be here to listen and to offer you whatever comfort we can. We will all have to go through this pain one day, but I believe firmly that we will be reunited with our precious pets in the future.

I know Darlin is in my heart . This morning I was very sad because I was missing her so I closed my eyes and began to talk to her . I remembered good moments like when she wanted to play , bringing me her fav toy , the funny postures she took when she wanted to make me laugh .

Grandmother is doing dvd memorial for her . I know she finished two , I don't know how many she'll have . I am very curious and its killing me to don't know what is on the dvds . I guess I'll have to wait .

Ian, how nice of your Grandmother, I'm sure it will be beautiful. So funny I was just seeing in my mind the picture of Crystal with her head down and her little butt in the air as if to say 'lets have some fun' We have lots of great memories.
