OMG, I am so, so, so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you and I pray you find some sort of peace and a way to deal with this. It isn't your fault though, please don't beat yourself up over it, you were trying to do the responsible thing. Sometimes bad things just happen and it's beyond anyones control. I know nothing anyone says is going to make you feel any better, but please know my heart and prayers are going out to you....

I saw this thread yesterday and couldn't even bear to post. I am so very sorry for your loss. I have such dread of having Feather spayed and teeth pulled. I hope you get some answers as to why this happened. It may give you some closure

:cry:Oh, my gosh. There are no words. My very sincerest condolences. I know exactly how you're feeling right now. My husband and I lost our little girl on the table, too. It's been six years and I still have guilt for taking her to the vet.

I have been where you are right now. There are no words to make you feel better about what happen, the guilt you feel is awful and all the what if's, that keep going through your mind right now. I wish there was a magical word that would make you feel better but there isn't.

I lost my first yorkie of 6 yrs last year, he had to have surgery, after all the blood test and everthing came back fine, we lost him just like you lost yours.
it's one of those things you think won't happen but does.
It's the sudden shock, this can't have happen, what did I do wrong, why did I do it? all these questions and no answers.

It does get better in time, you learn to deal with it and stop asking why. I still have guilt that I could of done things different but at the time I thought I was doing the right thing, the only thing .

I still have not got the courage up to have Wicket netured he is a 1yr old and
I don't know if I ever will now.
If there is anything I can do to help you through this, please let me know, I wish I live closer to ya, we could cry together and hug each other.

Oh my gosh, what a bummer!!! Big hugs to you. I wish I knew better words than, I am so sorry for you and your baby!! Tears are streaming down my face reading everyones wishes about your baby!! When I took Joj-Gee in to be spayed, I was so scared. She was so little. I stayed at the vet's while they were doing it and begged them to let me see her as soon as I could. I always worry about this happening.
