This is HORRIBLE!
I can't handle it. I still am doing things out of habit for my Teddy:aimeeyork . today in the mall i went to a dog clothing shop and was looking at stuff for him, found him the cutest pj's and was about to pick them up and head to the checkout when it hit me all over again that he was gone. needless to say i broke down :cry: right there in the store, like a big baby.
I feel sooo guilty for him passing away and dying like he did. I miss him to the point words could never explain.

I am so sorry of your loss and of how distressed you are. It is a horrible way to lose a yorkie.. I had one survive. but it was so hard on us..

Many do not know the seriousness and how they need the vet right away. I think you need to get this breeder to give you another baby. If not I would seek help from a lawyer.. it will not replace teddy, but will give you something to live for. My heart broke when you spoke of almost bought new clothing for him.. Poor sweet teddy rest in peace..

you have nothing to feel guilty about. it was not your fault you loved him and took care of him and he knows that you loved him..I think we always want to find some way to blame ourselves and play that what if game..I still do that with Shelby, but I know I did all that I could for him and of course I have regrets but at some point it is out of our control..so please try not to feel guilty. He would not want that

I am so so sorry you lost your puppy. I had a rescued dog that survived parvo but had brain damage. He was afraid of Every little noise and would go in to a full panic, always afraid and digging in the bath tub or hiding.

I'm so sorry :( I lost my little Peanut the beginning of January and I know how badly it hurts. My only saving grace is that I'm looking forward to a new addition to our family. She can't replace Peanut but, she will help fill the void.

I am feeling a little bit better today. I went back to work today and we were redicously busy. (cant' spell tonight.) so that helped me to keep my mind off of everything.

Oh, they DO! I couldn't imagine my house not having a Ted running around. So within months, I found a breeder that had my new TeddE waiting. There will never be another Sir Theodore, but another puppy to love is wonderful.

Lori, the pain will ease a little with each passing day. I still tear up over Peanut and miss him so much but the hurt isn't as raw now that a month has passed. I'll be glad when the weather is nicer and I can visit where he's buried and put flowers on his grave. I try to think of him at the Rainbow Bridge with Chloe, our Chessie that passed at the age of 16, playing and running and being happy!
I know they'll both be waiting there for me one day. It's a bittersweet thought.

I sometimes find myself remembering him slowly walking down the hall late at night going into each room, checking and making sure all is well. Then it was time for him to end his "shift" and he would go to sleep.
At times the kids weren't his choice of friends, but he always made sure they were where they were supposed to be at night. I love this memory of him. I always will.

:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: FINALLY got the chance to speak to the breeder. she is NO breeder i think she bread them just to make money :mad: she had NO CLUE what PARVO is!!

SHE asked ME ?'s about the virus and how it attacks and what happened and how do they get it.....she said there was no health guarantee on him! I don't even care about that really but i did tell her my lawyer would be looking into it in a weeks time if she could not show me a receipt of her little girl being fixed. I think that will solve the potiental problem of her breeding her lil gal again and hurting someone else.

just thought i'd give yall an update.

Thank you Vicki! I can say that my lawyer will not be involved because she got her female fixed. I will soon be the mommy of Maggie and Koda from Dallas (quaren)!

Hey Vicki! Yeah it is the same pup that we spoke of when we first spoke on the phone. I am doing fine. one day at a time is my motto...and one thing getting me through each day is that i know i am coming to get Moggie and Caleb soon! :-D
