OMG this is horrible! I don't really know what to say. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain and saddness you must feel.

I just broke the news to my parents after wishing them a Happy New Year. My parents are heart broken. Yorkies can steal those hearts. Lulu was so loved.

We had decided to have a small funeral for her tomorrow to say good bye. Well it\'s now a full fledged funeral. My parents have requested that I hold the ceremony until my mom gets home from work at 3. Dad asked if he could make her a little coffin. He was appaled at the shoe box. So he is currently in the basement at their house making a hand made little coffin for her and will stain it cherry. He asked that I bring her blanket over so he can cut it up to line it. God my heart hurts right now.

My sil and bil have also requested to attend and our friends that were were going to spend the eve with have also said that they would like to be here...so Lulu is gonna have a hell of a send off.

I\'m so sorry to hear of your loss. Poor little Lulu and poor you. It\'s so hard to lose them but especially this way. I hope your heart will begin to heal soon.

I have been talking to hubby and I personally have come to realize that I can\'t be without a yorkie. Hubby has always been into the big dogs but he agrees we can\'t not have a yorkie here. Lulu has left such a hole for us all that we can\'t fathom being without her.

Recently I was talking to Lulu\'s breeder to buy her full sister from a new litter. It was so she could have a companion..I liked that it was her actual sister. I really think I will have to get her now. Before I was on the fence because I was a bit wary of housebreaking...what do you guys think?

No one can replace my Lulu but I am not sure how well I will do not having a baby to come home to.

I have had other pets in the past but none that have touched me as Lulu has. Hubby just told me he wants to put a memorial tattoo for her.

I think it would be so great if you could get another baby from the same parents. I agree, I coudn\'t stand to be without a Yorkie. I know the potty training was rough, but I would go through it again. Good luck. I\'m sure your new baby will steal your heart in her own little way.

I am sooo sorry... I have no other words to say... Accidents happen... Gosh, I wish I knew what to say... If you can get Lulu\'s sister, go for it... it will help you smile again...

Oh no, I am so sorry for your loss!!:( What a tragic accident. Please don\'t blame yourself, accidents happen.
That is so wonderful of your family and friends to be so supportive. I sure Lulu would be proud that she is so loved by everyone.

Thank you for reminding me about a hole in my fence. I don\'t let my furbabies out in the winter time so they aren\'t go out now but I do in the summer and there is a small hole by the spouting. I haven\'t fixed it yet as it is a pretty small hole but now I will get it fixed right away and go over every inch of the fence to make sure there are no other holes or ways of escaping.

As for another baby, no one will ever replace Lulu but another yorkie may help your heart heal faster. I know I myself could never be without a dog. But only you will know when the time is right.

May God heal your broken heart and help you through this tough time.

OMG, there are not words right now for me to express to you that are going to make you feel better..
It is so very hard with these guys, I have a runner and I know, it is so scary.
I am so sorry and feel your heartache, I lost a 5 year old and know the devastation and the hole in my heart.

I am so very sorry.... I know that the loss of precious little LuLu has left a huge hole in your heart. It sounds like you are doing all of the right things to all yourself and those who love LuLu the opportunity to grieve and say goodbye.

Only you will know when it is time to allow another Yorkie into your home. I can promise you that although there will never ever be another LuLu just like you said -- a new pups will help fill the hole in your heart. Nothing helps the healing process more than tears and laughter. Good luck to you -- sending hugs :ghug:

she had to be very special for every one wanting to be there for her memorial!
