Dover, OHIO Meet Up; August 25th
 
Just a reminder to everyone that the meet up is this coming Saturday at the Dover City Park at 1:00 p.m. I hope to see many of you there!

Also, weather permitting I'm planning on having another meet up in October. Just a heads up. :)

I heard it's suppose to be hot and humid. It'll be just like the one we had in Cincinnati if it is. :rolleyes: Oh, well. Fun will be had by all I'm sure. :) Maybe we'll see you again at the next Cincy meet up, which I imagine won't be until next year now, unless Janie decides to do one in the fall too.

Just in case someone hasn't decided on what kind of dish to bring tomorrow, I'm going to list what I know everyone is bringing so far.

* Pasta Salad
* Cold Black Bean Salad
* Veggie Dogs
* Hot Dogs
* Broccoli Slaw
* Caramel Apple Pie (just bought this today ;) )
* Potato Salad
* Chips (Plain, Ranch Doritos, Pretzels, & Cheetos)

The weather here is sunny and blue! I hope it is that way furthur south! We'll be heading out in a little over an hour. Paddington Bear is so excited- he knows something is going on today, and last night he got to taste-test all of the doggie cookies! I just hope he shares willingly when we get down there! Can't wait to meet all of you!

I think we went to the wrong park
 
Paddington and I drove down, but I think we may have gone to the wrong park! We walked around for a while, and found a pavilion uphill from a pond. We thought you guys were there, but when we got closer there were no dogs. I asked some people by the pond if they had seen a group of dogs like mine, and they said they hadn't. So, we took a good long walk, and then decided to drive home (Bear was getting hot and starting to misbehave)

Hopefully we'll be able to find the one in October!!!! Now what to do with all these homemade biscuits :p

Oh no! :( I think you might of been at the right park, because we ended up having to move to a different pavilion because that group of people were at that one by the pond, which was the easiest one to find, and we had to move it up the hill to this pavilion that was extremely hard to find, but I didn't have any way to get on the net to post that it had moved. :( Were you the one who tried to call me, but I didn't get to the phone right away and when I tried calling back nobody answered. :( I really would of liked to have met you and Paddington. It was such a beautiful day and there was a nice breeze that kept us cool. In October, we'll all meet at the pond no matter what and if we don't get the pavilion by the pond we can all drive to the other one and that way we know everyone will be able to find it. Now I feel so bad and upset that you had to drive all that way and not get to meet us. :( Now I hope no one else came and couldn't find us and had to drive back home. I feel so bad...until today I didn't even know how to get to the other pavilions. We had to go into the pool area and ask where they were.

Yes, it was me who tried to call. When we got back to the car, I stuck my phone in the pouch of Paddington's car seat so that I could fasten him in. I forgot it in there, and when you called I was driving so I couldn't get the phone (his seat is in the back, where I can't reach)

Okay, good as long as it wasn't a total waste of a trip for you and that it wasn't too far for you to drive. I look forward to finally meeting you in October though. :) Oh, and if you don't mind me asking, where do you live? City, town? For some reason I was thinking you were coming from Cleveland...don't know why. lol

Sorry to ask such a dumb ???? I'm trying to fing a yorkie get together in my area and I'm wondering how to search for it. Someone had told me there was one coming up here in San Jose california. Another ??? question ----can I bring my chihuahua also???---or just my yorkie??? Thanks Jennifer
