Are There any Yorkies from Illinois? Im sure there are but had not seen you pups yet. Sonia and i are from Plainfield Il and are looking for a yorkieclub out here. I had this website sent to me but the site not really up yet.. www.chicagoyorkie.com Maybe just to be introduced to some illini Yorkies. Sonia is 4 months old and a pretty little girl..Her nick name is poopy cuz of obvious reasons...Im 26yrs old and have 3 of my own litter..LOL....

Im from Logan square but moved out here in the Cornfields...Is this your first Yorkie? Sonia is my first. I had a lady contact me about a yorkie group who meets every month. I might check it out next month, I think on the 2nd....

im from logan square too! by fullerton and tripp, close 2 kelvyn park high school. this is my first yorkie but i also have a poodle

I'm currently living back in Illinois (family is here) during my pregnancy.
I'm 25 and if you ever find yourself in Grayslake, Illinois (yes, that's about as North East as you get besides going too far North into Zion and such!) I'd love to meet your little one! I've always got my Yorkie "Ava" w/ me, so I'm sure you'd meet her too.

It's getting cold out, be sure to keep that little one warm!

Patti, I take many of my clients on a regular basis right into your area!
We go to PetSmart; Menards and Bass Pro Shop to do some of our Private lessons rather than staying at the facility I'm a trainer at.

I'll keep you guys posted as to the launch of the new site, but in the meantime bookmark the website on your computer.

In the meantime i'll keep you informed of of our next meeting via email and the site.

I know we've meet consistantly every LAST SATURDAY of the MONTH....BUT for NOVEMBER/DECEMBER since those saturday fall close to the HOLIDAYS (thanksgiving weekend and NewYears) i'm going to make a change.....

NEXT MEETING will be 1 month from now, SATURDAY DECEMBER 2nd
(time & place im still working on) SINCE we will be meeting at an INDOOR FACILITY.

So SAVE the DATE....Saturday DEC 2nd 2006.

We have four yorkies and live in Wheaton, Illinois. There used to be a meet up at PetSmart, but has disbanded for this area.

Still need an indoor facility?
Maybe we could meet up at TOPS in Dog Training? It's in Grayslake, Illinois
(1460 E. Belvidere Rd.)-mapquest it!
and I don't think there'd be a problem using the training hall that day (of course it's heated and there's already seating), as long as it was after 4p!- if it was on a Sunday, then we could do it anytime after 12 noon.

Want me to check? (I work there)

How cool, last year I was in the chicago meet up and Clara and kiko were in the same group.We both got our yorkies from the same breeder. Kiko is so cute and Clara is the new president of the group.They us to meet every month ,it was to far for me and even worst in the winter but it was very fun.They had about 20 yorkies in that group.I wish we could have our own meet up here in the north I live in Beach Park and if anybody wants to meet my house is open for you all in the north.I have 1 female yorkie and one poodle they are both less than 5 pounds and a new yorkie puppy.

We were looking to purchase a house in Beach Park! It seems theres more and more people on here in Northern IL. We definitly need to have a meetup. I would go ahead and plan it, but I have no idea where to begin, and I hate planning things.
