KY-Indiana-Ohio Meet Up!!!!
 

Hi there!!
Here's the Meetup thread that I said that was coming!!!! Hope that you will consider coming and socializing with us! PUT IT ON YOU CALENDAR!!!!!
We will be meeting at the Ky Horsepark Campground on May 9, 2009 - 1:00 PM. There are still sites available at the campground for that weekend, if you are a "camper" and would like to make it a weekend camping trip. This is a beautiful park like setting…….. You will LOVE it. It is located right off I-75 about 60 miles south of Cincy. There is a website that you can go to and make reservations. Here is a shortcut to that website. Welcome to the Kentucky Horse Park .

I will be making BBQ & Buns , and will be supplying the plates and utensils. I ask that everyone please take a dish to pass and their own soft drinks. Also your own chairs. There is no fee to help with costs this time (we have to pay for the campsite to camp, but would be doing that regardless!)

I have several x-pens that I will be putting together to make one Big one, but you are welcome to bring yours if you would like to. Also, it is required that your dog be on a leash if not in the pen., and that you pick up after your dog…… Poop bags required!

There are a few “surprises” that I won’t disclose….. You have to be at the meet up to find out what they are!!!!

Once I get your PM, I will PM you with the information about the campsite # we will be at and directions if you need them.

I am sure we will be having another one!.... I have been to several in the Cincy area and we have a really super nice group of peeps that are within an hour or two of us!! I am hoping to get to meet some new people this time, too!!! Sorry it don't work out for you ..... but hoping to see you at the next one! :)

Unfortunately we will not be able to make it!
Like I mentioned earlier, I am facing job elimination in May and I just started taking a class, so my weekends right now are busy with studying and job searching!
Hopefully we can do another one over the summer and things will be calmer for me!

Thank You, that's sweet that you have been thinking of me! It would be nice for something good to happen about now, it's been a rough few months all the way around! I'm ready for something positive!

Out of curiousity, what is the age group~?

I am 47........ but we have a wide range of people that have been to the meetups........ from the 20's to 60's!!!

It sounds like fun but Unfortunately I have a dog show to attend that day

Mazee and I were going to come, but then I remembered it is Mother's Day and I have to go to my mom's she lives an hour from me which is about 2-2 1/2 hours from the horsepark. So sorry :( we were looking forward to it and wanting to meet you all and your babies. We plan on attending the next one tho, promise! Hope you all have great day!!

Thank you to Shelby & Seymour for putting together the meetup!! Everyone who couldn't make it missed a beautiful day!! We loved our little gift bags and of course adored our Yorkie Mom pin!! I hope we can do this again sometime soon!! We had so much fun!!

And thank you Lisa, Piccolo and Vivi for our treat!! We will have to reunite Bandit and Vivi for a rematch soon lol, I don't know about Vivi but Bandit was passed out the rest of the day!!

It was a wonderful time! Thank you Shelby&Seymour for everything. :) By the way, Ashley, Vivi was just as tired. Lol.
