Good morning!

I thought it would be fun to meet some of you fellow Chicagolanders and for the pups to get some play time! Who's in for a meetup sometime at the end of August? I know StewiesMom and Reconsmama are in the general area...who else?

Hi I am from Chicago (Uptown Area, Montrose/Clarendon/Lake) count me in...from day one that I got Pudge people recognizes me now :D And yesterday while walking him we saw a group of four ladies talking on the other side of the street and one of them recognized me and called me to cross the street with Pudge. And there...I saw 4 little dogs, she said they are having a mini-small dogs meeting. it was fun though it only lasted a few minutes I got tangled with leashes in the middle of the group because Pudge was trying to greet everybody, and everybody has to sniff him all at the same time. :cool:

It will be very, very nice to set a meet-up before the summer ends. And I will be more than willing to advertise the meet-up in my area.....

I actually have a great idea for a meet up. There is a dog/owner cruise on the Chicago River on Sundays on a REAL cruise boat! I think it is $8 for people and $5 for dogs -- so a total of thirteen dollars for us (except for those w/ two or more)? Its like an hour ride or something. I think it would be great idea. Anyone think so, too? I will post more info.

That sounds like its gonna be a great time. Unfortunately Macy and I cant go, thats the day before my daughter starts her first day of school. Make sure you guys get lots of pics and ill be sure to attend the next meet up!!!!

The River Cruise sounds great ... looks like September 25 might be the last for the season! We plan to fly up to visit friends in Downers Grove the latter part of September, so hopefully we will get there before the 25th. It will be Toto's first trip to Chicago so we want her to have lots of fun! ;)
