Awww, thanks for saying that. I feel better about the idea of them flying now. I wonder if they could both go in the same crate? They would be so comforted by each other if they got scared. I'm crossing my fingers that this all works out for those 2 boys! :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |

pooh's mum gee I hope this girl does not be mad and lose maybe a great new parent. I took my first yorkie sight unseen.. we loved him so... pooh's mum |
I'll have to look into the flying thing. I'm sure it can be done with one, not sure about 2 though. Its on my to-do list. Anyways, I hope she is still around. I'd love to give those boys a nice home for them to live. |

I am trying to send the OP a pm...but for some reason that is not an option when I click on her name...does this mean that she has de-registered? |
when you go to the originator's name on the avatar, there is no place to send a pm, so I take it she has some how cancelled on YT, This is when it makes me wonder if it is not just some one playing with yorkie lovers. Maybe not even real, and if this person see's this and does not like what I am saying, she needs to realize that there are all kinds that come onto this site and just new to raise a lot of angry posts for the hang of it.. pooh's mum |

she probably cancelled her membership or something because her feelings were hurt. :( It happens if we aren't careful with what we say. *sigh* Hopefully its not just someone pulling our legs, but I really don't think it is. I hope that Kanda can get them still, because it sounds like that would be a very good home for them. :) |

She sent me a couple of pm's earlier and she seemed like the real deal. I think her problem was that I live so far away, she wanted somebody closer. In the end, I just really hope she gets a good home for them, whether its with me or not. If she cancelled her YT then surely she will look elsewhere and find a great home. Surely after all this time with them she will look really closely at whoever gets them. |

I just tried to keep her clear of who she was going to buy from.. pooh's mum |
Thanks Megan! (btw, good name...it is my daughters name) Oh well...the search continues. Thanks everyone for the support! |
Kanda, hopefully after she's had a chance to shake off the negativity, she'll contact you again. Alphy came from Ohio with no issues whatsoever. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Did she give you any information in the PM that you could track her down with? |
no, unfortunately she didnt. She asked for my email address, and said that she would keep me posted. Its good to know that shipping can be done at that distance. |
Thanks again, Pooh's mom. No, I definately have no problem paying. I never expected to find a yorkie for free anyways (and probably wouldnt have taken Frankie or Rio for free either). Yeah, if any of you know any breeders that are planning a litter soon, I'd love for you to pass that info on. There are lots out there, but as I am learning, they are not always what they seem. (Sniff sniff) You guys are the best! :) |

We had to rehome our dogs a couple months ago due to a very bad financial situation (which resulted in a move) *except for one of the yorkies, as he is a service dog*, hence my passion on the subject. anyway, both of them went to YT members. "My" lab Rusty, who is 9, went out to Mike, AlaskaYorkie, who lives in Alaska (duh haha). It was a 12 hour flight from here in New Jersey to there in Alaska. Rusty got there stress free, and everything went perfectly. :) Before that, I wasn't really "into" the idea of shipping, but it is a great way to get an animal in a good home! If you look around, there are some yorkies that pop up on here every once in a while. I'm sure that you will find your baby! :D |

I said good luck and meant that - I hope you can find a great home for them together....I know it's easy on our parts to judge and we shouldn't - but for their sakes - when and if you make this decision - please think it over carefully and trust the people you rehome to - |

I feel for you and your (boys) I am sure it is really hard for you to do this. and I am sure it took alot for you to come on here and post this. I will not Judge just know That I am here if you need help. |
I don't know if you are coming back to YT so you may never read this, but I am still going to post it, in hopes that you will read this... YT is a wonderful place, there are so many knowledgable, caring and responsible Yorkie Moms and Dads. We love these guys so much and we only want what best for them. I am not in your shoes so I don't know your true situation and how you feel. I am in my shoes and know the things that I would do and the things I would not do. I won't preach to you but I would like to offer suggestions that other very knowledgable and experienced people have said over and over. It would be really great if the 2 boys - brothers - could spend the rest of their lives together, so if you can please try to keep them together, it will be less stressful for them. Try to attached a small 'adoption fee'. Reason being is that there so many horrible people out there in this world. I don't want to go into details b/c it might upset you more in your current condition, but for the best interest of your boys, consider asking for a small adoption fee to deter any 'bad elements' from crawling out of the wood works. I have seen people turn around and than donate that small adoption fees to a rescue, this way you could be helping others in need too. Which brings me to the last suggestions: Yorkie Rescue - I will list a few for you, but that would probably be your best bet, to surrender them to a reputable Yorkie Rescue. They are experienced and have the people to be able to get your boys into the best suited forever home. Below are sites dedicating to rescuing and re-homing Yorkshire Terriers. Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Rescue http://www.canadianyorkshireterrierrescue.com Rescue Me Yorkie Rescue http://www.yorkierescueme.com Save a Yorkie Rescue http://www.saveayorkierescue.org United Yorkie Rescue http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org Yorkie Haven Rescue http://www.yorkiehavenrescue.com Yorkies Inc. http://www.yorkiesinc.com/AvailableYorkies.htm Yorkie Rescue Colorado http://yorkierescuecolorado.com/home.html Yorkshire Terrier Club of Los Angeles Rescue http://members.cox.net/ytclarescue Yorkshire Terrier National Network http://www.yorkshireterrierrescue.com I wish your boys nothing but the best - I hope that they find their forever home, together. |
OP~ I see you are online now, I wish you the best in finding a new home for your boys. |
