Anyone heard of this Oklahoma breeder?
 

I am thinking about buying a puppy from her and need any information on her I can get. We will be traveling 800 miles by car and are hoping not to be disappointed. Her website is www.debbieslittledogs.com and she is from Mcalester OK,74501. She sounds like a very down to earth person and her website and yorkies are beautiful. Thanks

never heard of her but her dogs are really pretty. that puppy whose picture is on the available page is a cutie

I am wanting a light tan and blue colored yorkie and hers are some of the prettiest I've seen.

The Tulsa World just did a series of articles on Oklahoma puppy breeders, mills, etc. The link is to a search of Okla. breeders and inspection results. Your breeder did have a violation at one inspection and then no violations at another inspection. You might want to find out more about the violation she did have.

I have spoken with this breeder she seemed really nice but I have not been to visit her kennel she is only about 30 mins from me.

OK, Is nobody reading her website and noticing anything wrong!!! Here are a few quotes from her own website!!!! I am copying and pasting them below!

All registrations are with APR you must request AKC registration if that is what you want


Why does she not care what happens to her puppies?? How can she come up with AKC papers on an APR dog just because they have champions in their pedigree? She states at one time that she sells quality lap dogs for pets and then goes on to say that you can breed or show them if you want...She is DEFINATELY not worth an 800 mile drive.. If she says no strings attached, then that mean on your end as well. Don't expect her to care if something goes wrong with your puppy...If I were you I would keep looking!!

I agree and this website does not add up to the pedigree she has included. If Lamplighter and Dureer knew of this they would be very upset. I just wonder if this could be Debby Jensen showing up again in another breed:confused:

I agree, this reeks of puppymill. If her dogs have AKC champions in their lines, why are all HER dogs APR registered? I think that you could find a much more reputable breeder here on YT. Check the Yokies for sale threads. Good luck!

I really appreciate everyones help with making this decision and I have to admit your prolly right:( . Soooo, Im not going to buy from this lady and travel all those miles for what looks to be a disapointment.

I agree although I don't know her, I know of her and she has some great dogs. Look at the tiny ears on those pups and the heads are really nice.
She has advertised the winning she has done in the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America for years. If you live close this is one to consider for sure. Did you see her Bobby (gorgeous)

i dont think these pups are in this persons price range from what we have been discussing in PM's i think she is looking for one in the $800 range. Glendas pups start out at like 1200 i dont know her either but i have talked to her in emails.


i think there may be some breeders closer to Indiana that may sell for $800.
