We both have 3 weeks to back out. I said 2 was sufficent. I am not sure about my boy. It is hard because I dont want to get to attached or let him get to settled, he's settled but at the age he could adjust easy. If this little girl whose name is Lola, if the lady would have had her spayed or was saying something about a contract for no breeding & good home only I would have been ok w/it. But that wasnt the case, even though she loves the dog she just... I dont know. But I wanted her safe. Pics below

I pray that she does not back out. The baby is a doll. I love it.

She is eating, drinking & sleeping on us so it is off to a ok start. She isnt thrilled with tilula or the little guy. I will call monday for a vet appt. to get her checked over. It looks as though she has douple layers of teeth & I know the lady said she gave her string cheese & peanut butter as a treat. She is very cuddly. Tilula is a little jealous but would be ok if lola wasnt so afraid of her so I could hold them both together. But when T wants held I do put Lola down & hold T. But hopefully in a couple days I will be snuggling 3 yorkies at once just fine. Should I go ahead & maybe just do a may be available for adoption/sell on here & explain my situation so if I do need to place this little guy I can have a jump start. I still havent named him, which is weird because I didnt expect this to happen:( This is so hard.

She is a doll .....I didn't think we could do Three and at First It was Crazy here. But now we are all Great and All the Yorkies Even Nippy Daisy get along great. Pixie has brought out the kid in us all. Your New Gal Lola looks a lot like Daisy. What a Pretty sweet Girl. I think It is Great of you to give her a new safe home.

Well let me see here, first off, sounds like this woman knows how bad you have wanted this girl...how she can spoil her and then sell her to the highest bidder is beyond me...

As for your new boy...just wait, boys are so super loving, my yokie males have always been the more loveable protective guys...I have one that does not go to bed until I do...even though my girls I love have no problem going to bed with daddy...I always tell him he is my main man...he knows it too...if you keep him, I can see you telling us all, we were right about the boy...in time he will win you over, count on it...then you will say to yourself, omg how did I even think of letting him go at one time..:-)

I hate people that up the price when they know you really want...I would think a person would be ever so happy to find a person that would love her as she did, if she did..how could she is she wants to give her up...
shame on her saying she can be bred at a mere 3 pounds,...

As for having three, try 4 or more...makes no difference in the house, more to love, more kisses...more cuddles...what can i say...more fun when they all get playing...

If it is meant to be, it will happen..you will get that girl and have three...

Actually she lowered the price for me because a year ago when she was asking $4500:eek: I loved her but told her I could only do $1000, she wants $2000 & actually still has her on the puppyfind site for that, So if it is working out good I really need to come up with the other half & meet her if she will agree to bring the contract & void it & write me a reciept. We will see what the vet says. With the bot now it is a money issue also, I am trying to work it out & I did put some stuff up forsale in yorkie products & garage sell. So if I keep working on it I may resolve that aspect but then I dont want to have to treat one different from another. The little boy doesnt mind staying home. I take Tilula to work with me alot & another one would be doable but 3 will definately be to much. It isnt fair to him that he was here first & may get the boot, I just feel terrible but He is a doll & I really believe that he can have a wonderful home somewhere else. I know boys are cool, I kept a friends male pom for a few months & he was so sweet. I think I will go ahead & try to sell him, but believe me I am very picky. I use to rescue from our pound & I have some questions I ask that are very important to me & if I dont get the right answers or a bad vibe it doesnt happen. Plus I require a family photo & a phone interview. If I dont find the perfect family then he stays. We will just see what happens. I really appreciate everyones opinions & support. I know it is hard to understand when anyone rehomes a YORKIE because it just doesnt make sence. If someone sees him & thinks "thats my yorkie" just as I did Lola & Tilula & they can offer him a great home he will easily adjust to then no harm will be done, this will finally be decided & A family will be happy with a great baby boy. I will meet her immediately w/the rest of the money, rip up the contract & get a reciept. I know this could get ugly to because she could ask for her back, the only reason I think she would is because someone wants her on puppyfind & if that happens I will tell her that that contract is just a piece of paper & I will pay her the remander in return for the contract with a reciept saying the contract was voided early agreed by both parties, lola is owned by Rachel now & paid in full or she doesnt get the rest of her money & we will go into hiding never to be seen again;) I hope we do not go there because I am prepared to deal w/this lady in the way she needs if she tries anything on me. I want to be honest & pay her definately but she isnt going to take her back for something like more money, because it works both ways. Ut oh my mean protective momma bear streak came out.

Did the lady you bought your little boy from tell you if you had to rehome him for any reason, to get back in touch with her? I feel so sorry for that little guy, I've not even had my little one for 2 weeks, and I couldn't imagine letting her go, to her this is home

I read your entire post - and I'm happy for you in getting Lola. It is too bad that you got the little boy in the first place bc it definitely sounds like you didn't have that "this yorkie is meant to be mine" feeling right from the beginning. But, it happens.

My suggestion would be to rehome him asap - I mean, if you're going to take the 2 girls to work and leave him home, that just sounds kind of heartbreaking. You're being honest w/ yourself and it sounds like you just aren't bonding w/ him like w/ the others. SO, why not help him find his human who has "that lovin' feeling" like you did about Lola? How great would that be!!??:D :D :D

Wow - that prev. owner is horrible for not getting her doubles removed. Her teeth could be a MESS bc of it. She'll have to be put under to have them removed - which will be a costly operation that the owner should credit you for. You may want to have that discussion w/ here....yikes!

i just read all the posts and something isn't sitting well with me....I applaud you for knowing or feeling that this little boy isn't a good fit for you and he deserves to be in a home where he can become a part of the family as Tilula has become a part of yours. But I am highly uncomfortable about this woman who is trying to sell Lola. Even though you have a 'contract' to purchase Lola, it seems like she is just trying to sell that poor little girl for the highest bidder. You have Lola and this woman is STILL trying to sell her on petfinder :mad: ??? That makes no sense to me :thumbdown . Honestly, I think that $2000 for a yorkie without papers is OUTRAGEOUS! But what if someone falls in love with Lola as you have (she's such a cutie, btw:) and is able to pay any amount of money for her. This woman has the right to 'change her mind' and take her from you just so she can sell her to someone who is able to pay more??? I sincerely hope everything works out for you and this little girl but I'm skeptical about this woman...

I was thinking that too. This woman wants so much money for Lola but you are going to have to pay for spaying plus teeth extraction. You may very well be paying over $2000 for this dog when all is said and done. When you take her to the vet, maybe if he/she can put something in writing about everything that needs to be done for this little girl and the cost of it all, then you can take it back to this woman as leverage to get her to lower the price.

Either have "the lady" come here to read this thread, or print it out for her. Perhaps if she sees responses, she'll see how cruel she is.

........hopefully like you said you have given this situation to God.........you sound ok w everything and even tho it isn't the best scenario w this breeder it was evident from your first post you are in love w this little girl ......don't feel guilty about the little boy..........if you have not bonded w him it may be that he will have a better life in another home and it is apparent you want to find that for him so that is really ok..........there is absolutely nothing wrong w that........go with your gut and find him a perfect home and be excited for him just as you should be excited about your new little princess!!! I dont want to tick her off & out of spite she will take her back. I just want this to all get settled. I normally dont let myself get in this situations. I feel I have used my head & my head says i can not let that little girl go & not know what happened to her, she mine mine mine-ok my head may be alittle crazy right now but if I thought the little guy would not adjust no way would I let him go anywhere. He is content being home alone for a few hours, I take T & leave him now because he's to young to be on the road for 11 hrs straight, but I take him on short trips & he enjoys that. He doesnt know a stranger yet.

What kind of contract do you have with this lady? I know that you see her as your dog mow, but if their is any written arrangements then Legally you have to follow them. If she wants to take the girl back, then she will have the law on her side even tho you have the best interest for her. I really hope that you do not end up having to deal with this lady wanting her back. This lady sounds sneaky having her posted on petfinder like that when she already made arrangements with you, I would have trouble believing she intends for you to end up with her.

I also wanted to add..make sure if she is microchipped you get that changed also...apparently after the whole Ellen Degeneres ordeal..as long as the microchip is in her name its her dog..just some food for thought lol..I hope you get to keep her..

Is that Lola? That lady listed her off and on so many times! I felt so bad for her. I'm glad you got her though, I had thought about getting her at one time.

That lady sucks IMHO, that dog had her own web page and everything. She kept saying she was 2 pounds last year. If this is the dog I'm thinking it is.

I posted after seeing the pictures and not reading all the reply's, I KNEW it was her! How could she not love her???? I watched all last year as she listed and unlisted that poor girl all the way up to $3,000.

I'm so glad you got her! I watched that poor yorkie be listed on and off for a year(I only saw the price go up as high as $3,000 though). I wanted her but had just gotten my own Lola a short time before and was broke. I'm happy to know that she found a loving home because her previous owner seemed beyond shallow and heartless. Yay for Lola and you!

I had a myspace page so I'd see her for sale now and then on her own webpage :( I just wanted to let you know that I'm glad she found a nice home with a YT'er. Sometimes you can't buy every yorkie you see out there but there are a few that you wish you could have and she was one of them.

Did she give you a receipt for the money you have paid so far? Does this woman have other dogs for sale or is she just sharking this poor dog out when she needs money?

It is the same lola that has been listed on puppyfind (not petfinder) several times started at $4500, then $3000, now $2000. Maybe you all can inquire about her, ask her about papers, size, age, updated pics, etc bug the heck out of her then tell her you will give her $400 maybe $500 say thats a very fair price. So she will just forget it. She is adjusting

I agree ... why would she get rid of her pet of three years and then put a price on it ...??? she is hiding something ... and papers ? sounds like she maybe didnt get the dog legally in the first place... beware of her .

How do you go about finding a puppy on that site? I would do that for you, anything to help out:) sounds like you really love her already and i so hope you get to keep her:)

Lola is such a pretty little girl! I sure hope you get to keep her. This lady sounds odd to me though. I hope you don't have to go into hiding ;-) I hope you are able to find a loving home for your little boy. Go with your heart...
