I know how you feel I can't read about rescues or see bad breeders selling pups because it breaks my heart and I want to buy them all, so I can protect them and love them. Butn in reality I can't do that, i don't mean to preach but I wouldn't like you to end u in a situation where you would have to get rid of one of your own pups. But hopefully you find your way and everything works out for you. |
I would pay that much for a nice female that would improve my breeding program. She would have to be quality and that is what most breeders would expect to pay but I wouldnot purchase a three pounder to breed. And if you are not going to breed her and she has no papers, that is way too high. |
Thanks everybody. I am suppose to meet her tomorrow & do a trial with the girl to see what happens. It sounds bad but where I use to foster I kinda trained myself not to get attached to the dogs. Some made that impossible, for some reason I havent bonded with this little boy. When I first saw Tilula I just knew she was my girl & I felt the same way w/this other girl. I dont know. |

If she had papers I wouldnt think her price too high even though she is 3 years old as in this case you do know what you are getting. Not sure I would pay that much without the papers though. However, how many of us has said they thought the price they paid was high but wouldnt take 10 times that for him/her now? I know that is how I feel about mine. I love them all but we do have those that are a little extra special for whatever reason. Good luck to you whatever you decide to do. :aimeeyork :animal-pa |
Well I got her. She took half down & is giving me 3 weeks to make sure it is working out or if she misses her I have to give her back. If all goes good I have until Jan 1, 2008 to pay the rest. We'll see how she adjusts. |

I dont think she will try to take her back. She knows she doesnt have time for her. We will see. I will take her to the vet & make sure she is healthy & go from there. Of coarse being with the lady for 3 years I worry she will miss her mommy & refuse to eat, being so small that could be a problem. I think it will all work out. |
I don't think she is being fair or honest with you, and as much as you love her be happy with your little man. He loves you now, and it would be another transition for him to go to another home. Someday the right female will come along at a fair price. For the price she's asking I'd want all the paperwork, and have some proof that she has atleast tried to show her. |
What are you going to do with the little boy you just got? Are you keeping him till you know for sure this lady will not take back the 3 year old girl? I hope that things work out for you and you do not get your heart broken if this lady asks for her back. How long is that arrangement good for? Till you pay her off January first? I hope things go good for you, you sounded like you really had to have this little girl! Good luck with her! What is her name and do you have a picture you can post so we can see this little sweety?We would love to see her! |
