Yorkies here yorkies there.. some of us have tiny some of us have big ones. Some of them are light in color and some are dark. Some have floopy ears and some don't. Some great pedigree's and some don't... but they are ours and we love them no matter what. I would never say anthing bad about someones Yorkie just because it wasn't my ideal of perfect. I think they are all perfect! We all have different taste that is what makes the world go around. |

Amen :) I have one 9# and one 8# yorkie...no pedigrees (rescues) one with a pretty bad underbite (doesn't affect eating) I also have heard people say "what is that?" it's not a yorkie, they're little. I agree...yorkies, yorkies big and small, the lord God made them all! roxanne |

They are all different and thats what makes them special |

I agree. I have a 3 lb'er and a 14 lb'er. Both with ok pedigrees. One has floppy and one has point ears. One is dark and one is light. Looks like I have one of each!!! hehe. But I would never say anything bad about anyones yorkie, or yorkie mix!!!! They are just to darn cute to say anything bad about them!!! |

It's the breed that is so special. No matter what the size the personality is there. You have to love Yorkies to understand them. They are almost as smart as we are:p |

Great post:thumbup:   Just like us humans, Yorkies come in all colors, shapes, and sizes and I wouldn't change that for the world. How boring would it be if they all looked exactly the same? |
|
i agree, now that i have a chi/yorkie and yorkie i know its their personality that makes them the best, not size shape color or mix. its up to use to love them for who or what they are:) |

Aren't they the most amazing little creatures around....Each day, they do something that just makes me melt and I think How could I love them any more than I already do...Then the next day, they do something else and I think WOW!!! Sure, my guys are not perfect. They are 4.35 and 5.24 lbs...They have pretty good overbites....:D But it adds to their personality..... One's ears are up and the other's down....One is darker than the other.... But I iwll say this....YORKIES ARE ADDICTING!!!!!! |
|
Amen and thank God for this special little (or not so little lol) breed :) |
|
 Amen! Great post!! |

I just thinking about this when looking for another little girl. I hate to hurt people's feelings when looking because they are all beautiful but just maybe not what I am looking for. I have one 4 pound and one 6 pound..one light..one dark and love them both! |
|
I couldn't agree with you more. I love all of my yorkie kids unconditionally -- big, little, fat, skinny, stubborn, easy to train, dark, light..... |

I know that the baby I found - and who took over my world - is by far the "picture of perfection" by "Yorkshire Terrier standards".... but she is one of THE most beautiful, affectionate, attentive, silly sweet spirited little baby dolls I've ever known!! She has a bit of an over-bite, NO tail what-so-ever, is a wee bit scraggly even on a good day, haha! She's FAR too tiny to even be considered a "dog".... and because of her "delicate stature" is destined to catch EVERY bug, germ and illness on the planet..... But she is AMAZING!!! No matter the style, shape or smile of the Yorkie baby... they are ALL precious creatures gifted to those of us who adore them!!! I wouldn't trade my Natalie for all the gold in the world!! |

I loved what you said about loving our Yorkies no matter what. I had a small girl "Mi" who passed away on December 1. Her ears were up and she was the cutest little thing. Then Skooter came as a gift after she died. He's a big boy who weights 9.1 lbs. and he's entering his 8th month. He tries to stand them and they half stand and half flop. But he's so silly and funny, I think his ears go with his personality. I adore him as is. :o) |

I want one of each!:D Love 'em all! |

Suzi is my first yorkie. She is so sweet. I love her so much. She gives me sweet kissess all the time, and wants to be with me all the time. What else could I ask for! I could step outside for a second, and come right back in, and it will be like i had be gone for a week! She is always so happy to see me! I just love her to pieces. I feel that nobody loves me as much as she does, that sounds kind of stupid , but my Suzi is awesome. Suzh an amazing dog ever. LIfe is not the same anymore. She's my girl, I don't cdare if my brother has to tell me, "cathy their dogs" But, to me, they mean so much more ! I guess YT members can understand what I mean, or dog lovers do! I am absolutely in love with my dogs. They mean the world to me, and give so much back. Nothing can take that special bond away that I feel about them. |

JoJo's daddy thinks he is the prettiest and most perfect dog in the world. Of course, he wasn't real sure about us getting a Yorkie but I had wanted one for so long and I don't really want too much. So, he said okay. Now, he overlooks the long skinny legs, the too short tail, coat that never looks like it is combed, bad knees, etc. Jo has him wrapped around his little paw, needless to say. He loves his little boy so much. Who could resist a Yorkie? |
