LOL, That's my bee :D :D :D Sure wish someone had Paytons number, I so want to go check up on her! Payton, Payton where ever you are Please stay safe!!!!! |
Payton, just wanted to let you know that if you need anything please feel free to let me know. I'm also in San Diego and fortunately my home wasn't effected. I think the city is going to get through this as long as everyone helps each other out. |
I hope we hear from Payton soon. We are West of the fires in Running Springs, South of Lake Arrowhead, and have soot, ash and bad air. Not as serious as those who have lost their homes and can't find their pets. My vet and groomer both have boarding facilities and they "rescued" any pets that couldn't go to the Orange Show--which was the shelter for the folks who had to come off the mountains. If I can help anyone with taking in a (small) dog or two, or anything else let me know. |
Me too. I just came here to see if she posted yet. Hope all is well... |

Just checking in to see if she has posted yet. What a terrible situation for you all. Bless all of you who are helping out or have offered your homes. I have dear friends in Carlsbad that we talked to on Monday. They hadn't been evacuated yet, but were waiting. Haven't heard from them since. I love the area so much!!! Next time we visit, we'll have to plan a meet-up at the Carlsbad outlets!!!!!! |
Has anyone heard anything yet???? By her posted zip code she lives in San Marcos. On the news today they said the kids there will be going back to school on Wednesday. So that's a good sign.;) I just wish we had some news. :2hearts2: :hands: :2hearts2: |
I have friends and relatives in Sanatee, Boulevard, and Chula Vista ... they closed the schools for a week in Boulevard, and Santee which is inland and doing okay, no evacuations but smokey skies, Chula Vista (my in laws) have been evacuated .... praying for all of them to be okay! |

Hope your In-Laws are OK. Lots of Prayers have helped out here Thanks To Everyone!:2hearts2: :2hearts2: :2hearts2: |
Thanks for the info ... I guess they are having trouble getting to the internet so I only get brief messages on the phone or relay info ... I did get a few e-mails about the schools though ... I appreciate you telling me though ... I have a few students living in Oceanside and the Tri-City area now whom I have not yet heard from ... hope all is fine there. I imagine the air quality is horrendous (Just remembering how things were here after 9-11, since that is my only frame of reference, having never been in CA during the "fire" season) ... such a shame, it is such a beautiful part of our country! |
Payton we are praying:hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: |
Argh!! I just wish Payton would post. I've been really concerned about her. Last night on the news, the amount of homes they said were destroyed in San Diego, was simply horrendous. :( I just pray that hers was untouched. I\'ve checked, and don\'t see her posting anywhere else on YT. Lauren |
Also just checking... no news... |
