Yorkie Breeders? I'm trying to find a good breeder that has parents 3lbs or under. Does anyone know of any breeders with tiny parents and babies? TIA.:) |
If you're looking for a reputable breeder, you won't find one that breeds 3 lb. females. That is much too small and dangerous to be breeding. |
What would be the best way to go about trying to get a Yorkie that will stay under 3-4lbs? I know its not a for sure deal that the puppy will be under that weight, but if the parents are small then theres a bigger chance. Riley's mother was 4lbs and his father was 3lbs. I'm not sure if I want to go back to that breeder though. |
There are no good breeders that breed 3lb parents... Why do you want such a tiny one anyway? If you really have your heart set on a tiny yorkie, I'd look at reputable breeders that breed normal size yorkies and see if they happen to have had a tiny in a litter. |
Most of these little tiny yorkies, don't tend to live as long from what I've seen, and to me, they're not as healthy looking..Don't ever buy from a breeder that tells you the puppy will be such and such a weight full grown, I learned the hard way..I wanted one around 5 lbs. was told mine would be 4, she's just recently lost a pound and is down to 13 lbs. now! If you find one they say is going to be very tiny around 3 lbs. you're probably looking to pay around $4000-$5000 |
