I remember two years ago they gave a $50 gift card for PetSmart store for 1st place, I think $25 or $10 gift card for second and we won third and got 2 tshirts and a mouse pad that had pics of Petsmart charity logo on it.

Last year we won 2nd place at Petsmart and got a $10 gift card for Petsmart store.

Daisy won 1st place at PetCO last year and got a $25 gift card. Teddy won 2nd place and didn't get anything.

We're not competing for a prize this year though because the competition is just getting too crazy. We're just going for fun.

Were going out to the new one in Mchenry. Have you been to that one yet? I know it's kinda far from you, but you should go there sometime, their staff is soo friendly! It's a whole different experience from the one in Gurnee!

What all do they do at the contest? Do we just go, show them our babies and wait? Or do they have activities going on as well?

we just got home. elphaba was a big hit with everyone, but we didn't win the costume contest. we did get a special prize for being extra cute though! my petsmart was CRAZY!!! from now on I'll be there EARLY!

Just got back too and it was crazy busy!! We waited an hour and they still hadn't done the contest so we left.

We just got back a little while ago. Chaos !! lol it wasn't the animals, it was the Pet Smart people !!! They couldn't get the cameras to work, then the printers and on and on ... by the time they got the pics done, alot had went home already. They were running behind so they just came up the line and asked names and then went and judged. I had to hold lil Maggie cos she would have gotten trampled in the mess. She didn't win anything but she sure was adorable !! I'll post pics when i get them downloaded. Hubby had a blast !! lol

just got back too my petsmart was crazy with all those pics.:p misty didnt win anything either but she was gorgeous.:D

We just got back too. There were about 40 pets but it was quiet and and well organized. We didn't win but as we were leaving 2 of the girls told us that they voted for us to win but they were outvoted, so that made us feel good. The pictures turned out pretty nice and I thought the picture frame was cute.

Rae Rae, did you go? Sorry I didn't see your question until now. We got there at 10 til 7 and the voting was at 7. We just sat on stools until our turn for pictures and then after all the pics were done we all paraded around the store and the judges (about 11 employees) watched us go by and voted. They announced the winners right away and then most people left. They had treats in dishes for the doggies and a bowl of candy for the people. They used to serve cola and bottled water but this year they didn't.

Almost forgot... 1st prize this year was a $20 gift card, 2nd was $10 gift card and 3rd was $5 gift card.

He voted for Rocky and Bella, but the guy called him out and said "those are your dogs!" But they did get a lot of compliments, everyone loved them! Also, for the voting everyone cheered for who won first, second, and third, and Rocky started barking, I thought it was cute because he was cheering for them too! Can't wait to go to it next year! My babies are so exhausted, they both came home and passed out!

A 5lb bag of treats!!! Cool!!! We got a baggie with a few tiny bones but my babies LOVED them. I don't know what kind of little bones they were but they sure devoured them. I wish we would have gotten a 5lb bag of treats though! I guess different stores do things a little differently.
