If someone does that then they have to show us! :D |
I don't know about patterns but I know you can do what we did and all it is a picture of Babybear and I uploaded it to a site and this is what comes out. Just make sure you black out your background and just leave the sweet little face. I will add the link if you would like. www.glassgiant.com/pumpkinizer Have fun. |

unfortunately we didn't check any replies so matt just got one online of a dog. it looks cute but I am loving that yorkie one! grrr..we still have a week for halloween..maybe we'll do another one! thanks for those links! |
That is cute! AND thanks for that link.....what fun!!!! |
I was wondering the same thing! Great thread & links here... I carved 2 pumpkins last week, it was so relaxing to sit out with the pups and go at it. They looked great too... then they ROTTED! I just trashed them a couple hours ago, they were soooo gross. Does anyone know a trick to keeping them longer? Like lime juice to keep cut fruit from browning? I thought about rubbing lime juice in another if I carved again. |
I read somewhere that you can sprinkle cinnamon on the inside to keep it from molding.....also, to rub the skin of it with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out...and to try to avoid too much sun because that will make it rot faster. |

Here are more pumpkin carving tips!! :jacko: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99403 |
Don't want to put a dampner on such cute carvings, but please be careful. By putting that on your front porch, you will also be advertising that a yorkie lives in the house. Maybe keep it out before Halloween, but on Halloween take it off the porch, as you usually get strangers from other parts of town coming to your door. Just a heads-up. You know your neighborhood better than anyone. It's so sad to hear all the stolen yorkie storys lately.... Or just use it for inside decorations... I like that idea! Maybe I will do one! Thanks! |
