Oh, Mercy! I am so sorry to read this news. I don't know how I missed it yesterday. I know you are devastated and I am glad you have this forum of understanding Yorkie owners to vent on. I believe our babies who go ahead of us wil be waiting when our time has come to join them. I don't know if that belief gives any comfort, but there are no words to say that would make you feel better. Time will surely do that..and the love of your other babies. |

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I know it's hard to wrap your mind around reality because you miss your baby, but putting their dog to sleep is not the only kind of restitution I would need. I would sue them for not only trespassing themselves but allowing their dog to follow suit. I would sue for emotional trauma. I would also squeeze as much money out of them as I could. I know it sounds mean, but maybe this will teach others about what will happen if you are ignorant or disrespectful of other peoples property. |

My deepest sympathies.. That is so devastating and horrible and so needless. Right now I'm sure you are too much in shock to do anything but grieve but when the time comes I hope you take everyone's advice about making your neighbor's (the humans) responsible for this horrible event.. they need to be held accountable and I can't believe that they think putting their dog to sleep in the answer. After I posted last night I thought of something else I wanted to tell you. Get your weedeater out and go chop off those hostas. It will make you feel better and help get the anger out. When we are mourning, we go through a state of anger. And I personally think it will will help with your anger. Then you can have another good cry and then hopefully be on the road to recovery. I really hope you find peace within yourself and let your baby live as a joy in your heart. Your in my thoughts, if you want to yell and scream, pm me, I'll be glad to listen. |

Don\'t want to sound like an idiot but what are "hostas" and why are they so damn important that your neighbors had to trespass on your property. I would sue them in small claims, I am a certified paralegal here in SoCal and you definitely have an air tight case. I know that it will not bring your baby back, but at least you would have the funds to replace her when you are ready. I also think that you could get punative damages in a case like this, since the people deliberately trespassed on your property. So sorry to hear of your loss, but I would definitely seek financial redress since it is too late for the puppy. Sometimes the only things/lessons that hit home with people are ones that cost them money. |

:mad: I dont know how everyone else feels about this but I am pist that they think putting thier dog down would make it okay. That dog is really being punished for what its stupid owners did. Its dog instincts kicked in. I am not saying its allright what the dog did, i am just really emphasizing that a strange dog should have never been allowed into someone elses yard. Period. Especailly without a leash. This is all the HUMANS neighbors faults. Its absolutley ridiculous. I really think you should seek legal action so that the dumb people really learn a lesson. I am really sorry for your loss, its just the more I think about it the more pist I get at your neighbors stupidity |
