Bella's spay incision Is looking pretty good. It looks like it's healing well but it looks a lil bumpy. Is that normal? Also Bella has been much more affectionate than she was before. I'm not complaining :p but has anyone else experienced this also? I keep joking with my husband that they must have switched my dog |

It's normal to be bumpy. When Lacy was spayed her incision was kindof messy-looking and I wondered how it would smooth out but it did |

That's good to hear...Chloe's is bumpy too (she got spayed 9/21). |

Yes, it is normal....odd looking, I admit, but normal. Some of the skin is healing, some being pulled by stiches, some slightly swollen--it's not going to be smooth and uniform looking. Just watch for off color, gooey stuff around the incision or stiches--it is possible to become infected. Other than that, she should be just fine. |

good, that makes me feel better :) thanks! The vet said she could return to normal activity in 2 weeks. It's been crazy hard trying to keep her quiet. My lab keeps trying to play with her and nose at her incision. And last night, she was zoomin' all over the place. 2 weeks would be a miracle. |

Zoey's was bumpy too. After the stitches were removed it was still bumpy for a couple of days, but it goes away. |
