I am really sorry if you go to his page and it looks a little out of sorts. I am trying to load video and pictures to it. Thank you all for understanding. |
All I can say is that he is one lucky baby to have you as a mom! |
With tears and a big smile, congratulations to Babybear. I have read about wheels to help pups walk again, and your story is inspirational. Look forward to further posts on his progress. Warmly, Deborah and Charlie |
.... and here I am crying again :cry8: ..... but this time cause he looks sooo good and comfy with his Angelwheels...... You are such a super Yorkie Mommy and you know he will give you tons of Yorkiekisses for it ..... I am so glad this worked out for Babybear !!! Maya send him lots of :kiss3: |

Wow! I'm amazed at his progress! I didn't know he was getting wheels. I'm so happy for him, I hope everything continues to be so bright! |
Look how proud Babybear is to be moving around again. What a sweet face. Bless the both of you and Angelwheels for coming up with such a cart to give injured animals freedom to move around. I hope each new day brings new hope for Babybear. Hugs, |
Just amazing. Thank you for posting-you made my day :) Big Hug to BabyBear! |
Wow!! I watched the first video yesterday on his dogster page and now to see the difference on day 2, session 2!!!!!!:bravo: :bravo: :bravo: Babybear!! Gold stars all the way around. :dogwalk: It is so wonderful to see him making such great progress. Pray the success continues. |
:bravo::bravo::bravo: YAY! YAY! AND DOUBLE YAY! Val, I just returned home tonight and this was the first thing I looked for- news on Babybear's triumphant weekend!! I am laughing and crying at the same time, I am just so happy for the both of you!:teeth: I haven't looked at the Dogster page yet, but am about to. Way to go little guy!!! You've done your Mama proud. I so loved seeing him with little Gizmo, his inspirational little friend. Val, I saw your post about him not being a YT member, but you should tell his mom to join; we would make her an honorary member. Anyone who inspires a YT member the way she did, deserves to be here, I am sure everyone would agree. I am just so excited at the outcome, the way his little back was even straightening out that very first day; Mango sees her Mommy's happiness, and she's doing her little Mango Tango dance:woof:, while I am doing the Happy Bounce on my chair...:happyboun. Aw shoot.... Val I just read your PM about your Nana and I'm bawling all over again. Huge hugs to the both of you, Lauren:ghug: Edit: I especially loved the pictures of Gizmo and Babybear together..... the little Wheelie Dude Gang.:D |
Lauren, I was just waiting for you to get back. I was anxious for you to see how far he has come in such a short time. Even Leslie at Eddie's wheels commented to me tonight. I am constantly sending them emails with updates. Eddie said that this was the hardest front wheel cart he has made so far. Because of Babybear's problems and his size. He wanted to make sure Babybear didnt' take a nose dive or anything to injure himself. I will ask Gizmo The Great's mom to join. She is such a wonderful person. And Gizmo Oh I just do not have the words that would do that little sweety and justice at all. He sure is an inspiration. And his mom is also. I will email her tonight. I am glad you are home from you trip safe and sound. Oh and I do not do the Happy Bounce dance:happyboun I do the rain dance ( happy dance while crying tears of joy.). But I am dancing with you. Gotta run trying to upload some more for Babybear's dogster page. |
I am so happy for you and Babybear Val! Please grt some much needed sleep. Cant wait to see more pics this week! |
The videos are so amazing! Looking at how much he's improved in just a few short sessions! Keep them coming! I can't stop watching! Go Babybear Go! Go! Go! |
I just got done adding this to his dogster page. You may watch it through here if you would like or go to his page and watch. It is Babybear's life in pictures Please if you have a weak belly when it comes to sick pups beware it shows him after surgery 24 hours after. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jO01urWiKw Thank you for viewing. if you would like updates on video all his vidoe's are on you tube if you subscribe you will recieve his lates that was place on there. |
I just read everything on Baby Bear's Dogster page. I knew how he got hurt but - you have a way with words... I felt like he was talking directly to me... I know it came straight from Baby Bear to you. The bond you have with him is so precious... I know he would be such an inspiration to many many people who are handicapped and giving up on hope. I pray Baby Bear's story reaches even one person and help them regain hope and inner strengh to achieve the courage and deterimination Baby Bear has. |
I just got done reading and looking at the pictures and video's on Baby Bear's Dogster page. I didnt know he had had a broken leg once too. You do have a way with words. I couldnt stop reading it. He's doing great with his new wheels. Just dont let him over do it. Its been so long sense he was able to move like that, Id hate for him to over do it and hurt from it. But I know you know what your doing. I think his story should be turned in, Like Maddies story was. What you are doing for him takes me back to all we went through with my little Yorkie/maltese. |
I have been thinking maybe doing a book on him. I have to find the time right now.lol With trying to retrain him to walk and doing his therapies. And now I am going to be keeping his Dogsterpage up. I need to find the time to write.lol I have a question. How do I like Babybear's dogster page to my signature???? I have tried several times but it keeps saying error. |
Aaaaw Val..... Babybear's montage had me crying again. This little guy was so meant to have you for his Mommy. Look at what you do for him in your utter devotion to his recovery. I've bookmarked his Dogster page, so I can return there often for his updates. His story is just so remarkable, a true inspiration for overcoming the odds. How's he doing with his Angel Wheels today? Every teeny step of progress makes my smile wider and wider. Mango and Spanky send Yorkie kisses, and I send huge hugs, like always,:ghug: Lauren |

1)First, go to the Dogster page, select the URL address and copy it. 2)In your User CP ,(Control Panel),on YorkieTalk select Edit Signature. A new window will open, similar to one in which you make posts. In the Toolbar above the text input box, right below the Color selection tool, (looks like an "A" with a red line below it), there is a little icon that looks like a green circle - click on that. Here is a pic showing it: Attachment 159034 3)A new window will pop up that looks like this: Attachment 159035 4)Now you paste the URL you had copied into the text input line and click ok. 5) Select the "Save signature" box, and voila! you should have your new sig, with Babybear's Dogster page for all to see. Hope this is clear,if not just PM me and I will go through it with you step by step. Lauren:D Edit: Your "buttons" might look different, because I am using an Apple computer, and you are probably on a PC, but the general directions are the same. Also, in the example I used, I am showing you my signature being edited as an illustration of the instructions. |
Val I read Babybear's story on Dogster and I must say that you are one INCREDIBLE Yorkie mommy!!! Every animal should have such a caring guardian as you are!!! God Bless You! My best wishes and prayers go to you for continuing recovery of precious little Babybear. He is such an amazing little guy. |

Now all this happened because he jumped off the couch and got hurt?? Now I am paranoid cause my maltese is the only one that can get on the couch by himself and he jumps off! |
I think a book would be awesome. Good luck. |

I will write a piece in Babybear's diary explaining what AAI is. That way the word is out and I know everyone will get the knowledge on AAI. That is what my mission is to educate people on this because it goes misdiagnosed or undiagnosed. And it is a very serious condition. |

How great it is that you are doing this. I, like so many others, know nothing about AAI, other than what I have read about Babybear. There must be so many people out there that need support if their animals have this condition. And Yay! to the idea of you writing that book!:jump28ib: I just sent you a PM (regarding your Grandmother). Hugs, Lauren |
