I feel so guilty... My husband is out of town for work this week and I'm sick. I feel like I'm completely neglecting my new puppy, Titan. I feel horrible keeping him in his play pen all day, but I just don't have the energy to take him for a walk much less play with him. I just wanted to vent to someone who might understand. I'm just feeling so guilty. He's just a pup and really wants to play and run around ALOT!!! Thanks for listening. |
put him in the bed with you.... they are a great source of tlc... |
when i had my surgery i was in bed off and on for three weeks scarlett just loved taking care of me |
When my two were little I got terribly sick for a solid week:( I just moved all of their toys and pen into the living room and slept on the couch - they could see me and hear me and when they wanted to cuddle I put them on the couch with me and they'd fall fast asleep:) |
He will give you puppy kisses and make you feel better in a FLASH!!!:) trust me that works...It's MAGIC |
Great ideas. Thanks so much. I just hate not paying attention to him. Thanks again for all your thoughts. Gwen |
My boys slept ALL the time until they were about 4 months old! So if I were sick they were perfect cuddlebugs to make me feel warm, loved and better :) they really are magic! :) Hope you feel better soon!! |
When I was sick and after I had my surgery, Jake was just a pup and I moved his toys in the living room, and he was happy to just play right by me. If he needed a snuggle, I'd put him on the couch with me and nap with him. He was an awesome companion to me! |
Hope you feel better soon and like others said let him snuggle with you part of the day!! |
They really are the best at providing TLC... i've been sick since saturday and Belle just lays on the bed with me and cuddles... i heard someone once say that happiness is the warmth of a puppy... and it really is, these furbabies are so loyal and loving, you'll feel better just by having him cuddle with you:aimeeyork |
