Beware Of Dognapper! Pls. Help Identify. Thanks! 2 Attachment(s) Wanted Fugitives Robbery The San Jose Police Department is asking for your help identifying the suspect in this police sketch. According to San Jose Police Detective Hata, on July 25, 2007, a one woman was walking her dog on Southview Drive near Southlake Court in south San Jose. As she was walking, two suspects approached her. Suddenly one of them grabs the leash away from the woman and snatches up the dog and starts running to their getaway car. When the woman tries to fight back, the second suspect knocks her down to the ground and then also runs to the car. Both suspects were then seen driving off in a Dark blue, Mid 1990’s Honda Accord. Both suspects were described as HMA in their 20ís. The stolen dog is described as a 7 month old Yorkshire Terrier that goes by the name of BEBE. These kind of people just make me sick!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine what that lady is going through?!! Its a sad world when you cant even enjoy walking your dog. |

Good lord, what is this world coming to:( can you imagine the woman and not to speak of the poor dog, the trauma it will face, how terribly sad, what ever happened to purse snatching |
I hope they find the scum bags that took poor BEBE. I'm sending lots of prayers to her owner and family that she is found and returned quickly!! |
They probably stole that dog to give their girlfriend or mother as a present, how SICK, this makes me sick. There are two people involved who will be hurt, the dog and the woman |

That so sad:( I live in queens and there have been alot of incidents of stolen dogs. I know I sound dumb to some people but I will not walk max alone. If my hubby comes with me I dont mind but not alone. There is a little boy which cant be more than 11 yrs old always walking his yorkie alone, and i always say the same thing to my daughter when we see him, all it takes is a push on the floor and the dog can be taken. its a sad world we live it isnt it:( |

I really am to the point I don't want to let anyone know I have Yorkies. I never let any repairmen we have see my dogs. They are kept in a bedroom when anyone comes. I hope they can catch those lowlifes! |
OMG! what has the world come to that you now cannot walk your own dog without fear of having him/her stolen from you...i'm totally shocked.That poor poor lady..she must be traumatised..i hope the yorkie is unharmed and found soon and those scumbags get what they deserve:mad: |
I was hoping Bebe had been found, since there hasn't been any new undates in awhile, I hope this sketch brings new leads to the case. and Bebe is soon back home. |

Wow... thats horrible! I cant imagine what that lady is feeling - I'd be sooo outraged!!! And thats one reason why my husband always goes with my daughter and I when we walk Meka... What a crazy world we live in!?! |

ohh now I can't believe we have people like that in this world, I know I would of done some damage to thos escum bags if they try to take away my Toby. I would of taken a couple hits for the team to protect my baby. |
My mom works for the police department, and she says they are doing this more and more with little dogs, especially yorkies. Please everyone, especially in California, make sure to watch your dogs when you walk. I know when I was walking Teddy, some lady came up to me, asking me if I would mind selling my dog. I told her, "no. Does it look like he has a for sale sign on his back?" She asked me, "Are you sure?" She then crossed the street to where Teddy I were and and tried to take a picture of him with her cell phone. I quickly crossed the street and i haven't seen her since. However, I've been very leery of people since then. She was around the same age as me, in her 20s, and I was surprised that people could do things like this. Be very careful!! |
Are you the same person that posted on craigslist regarding your missing dog?I live in San Jose as well. There have been a number of incidents of dog napping. I have two adorable yorkies and I am afraid to walk them by myself. If I do walk them, we go for a very short walk or places with heavy traffic. Holidays are coming and I'm sure during this time of the year incidents like this will occur more often. Young under privileged young adults stealing yorkies to give to their love ones or selling them. Its sad that we can't walk our furbabies with a peace of mind. I hope you find your dog or at least have that guy arrested. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through. |
