Pics of Your Yorkies Room
 
Hi, I am converting a walkin hallway closet that is about 5 feet by 5 feet into a playroom for Georgia. I was wondering if anyone on the board has a room for their dog and if they would share pictures.

I am trying to think of a theme to decorate with. I was thinking of the parisian poodle....only she is NOT a poodle...hahaha!

Look forward to seeing your ideas!

One of the boutiques here used white, hot pink and black . She incorporated poka dots ,stripes with animal print i.e. zebra stripe , and it is absolutely beautiful. My sister has 10 maltese and she did something similar ... right now her home is being renovated and the dogs are kind of here there and everywhere . But at her other home , they have leather sofas and chairs with their own TV and VCR. She uses the bright colors . I only have my two babies , but one day when the grown children move out the furbabies will have their own room. They kind of own the house though.

Seriously though, someone on here had the most adorable room painted with flowers and her fur-babies' names on the walls...I can't remember who it was.

Their room is so cute Breny!!! I would love to have a room like that one day for the girls and then a manly one for Teddy with like race cars or something like that. Do the girls like being in there?

They LOVE it !!!! (so does Brodie Rae and Brooklyn Rae :)) I put a little camo in there so they don't feel too feminine! LOL

They all tend to congregate in there all the time, even when they have full roam!!!

I did not bid on it but it gave me inspiration to decorate her little room...BTW I don't have kids, can you tell??? haha! It is basically a little walk in closet that is just storage right now. She is tiny but I want her to have enough room to run around in while I am at work. I think I would rather have her in a little room then in a crate.

How cute is that?!?! I'm making Bella get down off the chair now. She is going to get jealous of all these beautiful room pictures. ;)

I am surprised that as much as everyone on here goes bananas with clothes and pictures, I would have thought there would be more designated yorkie areas or rooms...lol...guess I am alone in wanting to do this for my lil furball

Diesel would loose his mind if I made him a room. LOL He has the whole house to run. When I leave he still has the whole house to run. He would be very upset if I put him in a room or a crate when I left. LOL

He wouldn't even play in a room like that. He is just too busy following me during the day. LOL It is a pretty room but it just wouldn't work for us.

Georgia's new room = Hallway walkin closet
 
I am soooo excited with the way things are turning out in Georgia's room. I painted the shelves black and the walls purple. I was going to go with pink but its just toooo much! So purple it is!

I am going to get some wall stickers from IKEA to go around the top half. I ordered some yoga blocks for her to climb around on. Any other ideas for toys to put in there? Does your yorkie play with tunnels?

I also bought that rubber that people use in gyms to put on the floor for her.

I will post pics of the complete room soon!

Breny, wow! so creative! :) how long did it take you to conpletely finish that room. do they sleep in there over night or do u let them decide if they want to sleep with u or do u close the door and they sleep in their?
