from my count looks like still roughly 16-20 furbabies still coming and around 18 humans.....we are gonna have so much fun

Is there a pavillion at Riverview Park? Or does anyone happen to have one of those canopies, like you use at the beach, just in case of a passing shower. If so toss it in your car and if there is a sprinkle we could put them up. Think showers should be out of Chatt by 1pm, but just to be safe.

not for sure about a pavillion....i dont have a canopie.....i carry an umbrella with me at all times....hopefully we wont need them.....just have to wait and see

I think that after today, we need to plan one for later in the month for Knoxville. There are more people in Knoxville than I thought and I think it would be a great turnout.

Knoxville sounds good .....but im not sure about this month...maybe first weekend in May?......i will have to check my family's schedule......but that sounds great........what time are you leaving for Chattanooga today?

Hopefully the rain will stop by then. The radar shows everything is out of TN, but there is a 30% chance of rain. Not sure if they're expecting more to develop later:confused:

We probably don't really need to leave until about 12 or so, but just to be sure for traffic, we're leaving at 11, in one hour. First weekend in May we'll be in Atlanta doing wedding pictures. We'll figure it out. OH - it would be nice to go somewhere where they are having the dogwood festival and take them to the festivities. Eh ... maybe not, I know not every Yorkie is just like mine, so that may not be a good idea. (some may not do well in large crowds, around other people, etc.) Anyway -- I am bringing chairs, a towel to dry them off, water and bowls, and their fetch toys. They love to play fetch!!

i live just about 30 minutes from Chattanooga.....here it looks gloomy but no rain...way it looks on the weather channel the rain is pretty much out of here......Smokey doesnt do that great in crowds either....actually this will be the first time for him to be around more than 1 dog at a time....but he has interacted good the the dogs he has been around....and boy does he love the girls doggies.......lol

I'll bet -- all boy dogs love the girl dogs. He might become friends with Glory because I think she is in the beginning stages of coming into season. There is a boy poodle a couple buildings over that she was flirting with the other day. If she becomes pregnant this time around, she may not be able to go to Kansas City.

Are you going to that?

Ok, Im dressed and ready except Im going to put on some "very old tennis shoes!". Im just going to wash Lillybelle's face and save her bath for this evening. She LOVES to go ANYWHERE-ANYTIME as long as she is with me. All I have to say is..."you want to......?" She loves, people, crowds, doggies...FOOD (not too fond of active small children or getting her feet wet). She knows "shopping, vacation, store, petco, walk, out, go, etc!" HA. I told her we were going into town today to see "FRIENDS!!". I did see in the paper this AM...that North Shore is having the extravaganza....should be nice...its touristy and doggy friendly.
