Yorkies are definitely chick magnets. Mike and I like to go to flea markets and we always take Susanah with us. If Mike is holding her, the minute I step away to look at something women are on him like white on rice. :rolleyes: LOL

My 19 year old son "borrows" Ollie all the time to "show" him to this girl or that girl. He loves how the girls act about him and i think it is funny how he always tells them Ollie is "his" dog!!

Yes, I would totally melt if I saw a guy walking a little dog, but especially a Yorkie!!!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Well.... I'm not sure if it will help you get phone numbers, but you will get alot of attention. My boyfriend carries Riley around alot. Some people have thought that he was gay because he had a really small dog, so keep that in mind. I'm not sure why anyone would think that just by looking at the dog.

when ever we take lacey on the to harley rallies if hubby holds her all the girls flock to him, its really funny to see a biker dude with a tiny dog thats all dressed up. he loves all the attention i know it lmao.

What a hilarious post! LOL!! I would love to see a guy walking a Yorkie! I think it would definitely be a conversation starter because any smart girl would LOVE a Yorkie! ;) You will have to keep us posted!~

Is Rockford dog-friendly? My daughter lives downtown Chicago, and everyone there has a yorkie. It's a sub-culture all it's own!! The guys are always letting their yorkies to help them make connections. ;)
I live in dt Chicago too. I love it here. There are so many little dogs everywhere. Most of them walk on a leash, but I'm afraid of letting Riley walk on a leash here. I'm afraid he'll get stepped on. :(

Oh, the other thing I thought of was something I posted elsewhere before. I drive by a truck stop every day going to work. I am amazed at the number of tiny dogs that are being walked by the truck drivers. The truckers have discovered yorkies and other little dogs make great partners in the shotgun seats! It's so cool to see these big truck guys with their little dogs.(Hopefully, they have them well secured and all of that of course.)
