Hello carrier help!!!!!!! I purchased a carrier for Mia and she hates it she goes crazy and starts growling, its going to get cold here in NYC and I dont want her to be stuck at home in the cold. Does anyone have any advise on how I can make her feel confortable in the carrier? Its really roomy I dont know why she doesnt like it. She is 8 months. TIA Lily |
I did answer you in another area.. with some other tricks But may be your carrier is to big? |
Georgia is 8 months too And i just bought her a softsided carrier from Petsmart. Its a comfort carrier by Bergan. I am keeping it on my bed. She puts all her toys in it as we play. Her new favorite toy is a bouncing ball...it is the perfect size for her and she stashes it in her carrier. At night I zip her up and let her sleep in it. I am trying to get her used to it for a flight. It seems to be working. |
carriers that worked for me ... 3 Attachment(s) I have found that this Chromebones carrier works great for my girls ... much better than a soft sided one. (I have 1 in pink and 1 in green) (I long ago gave up on trying to 'sneak' the girls in anywhere) ... now I just want a safe way to transport them. The first 2 work GREAT for me, the last 2 did not work for me ... My babies are 4 lbs. (10 months old) and 4½ lbs (5 years old). The other bags may work for others whose babies are smaller. The JUICY bag was simply too heavy without the dog in it even. This is just my opinion. |

i love sneeking coco in it lol!!!:D |
I would say stick a long lasting treat in there like a bully stick and just walk fast so she feels like shes going somewhere. When they stay still they whine. And a comfy carrier would help:thumbup: |
Thank you all so much all the advise is very helpful. I will have updates hopefully with some progress |
