Gotcha!!!!!!!!!! I ain't going nowhere!!!!!!! This is Lil Fart's last night with us. At 5 a.m. I will head to the airport and at 7 a.m. she will be on her way to Florida to a wonderful home. She already has custom made clothing and toyss specially ordered waiting for her. I have never been this sad or cried like this when my puppies leave but this has been our baby and it is so hard. Probably the hardest thing I have faced with my dogs. Please say a prayer for us. we are going to miss those early morning kisses we get even before we get coffee. Thanks

Oh it sounds like she is going to be super spoiled! And just remember as sad as you may be, think of how happy she will make that family! Awe...those kisses before coffee are the best aren't they?

Oh Dee, I know that you are sad. I know that I could never let go.
But just imagine the happiness that YOU are bringing to another family. They are at their house doing the dance of joy :p and all because of you!

Awww I thought you had decided to keep her? As sad as it may be Im sure her new family will love her and give her lots of kisses.Is someone on YT getting her?

I have decided a hundred times to keep her. it is so very hard but when I had to have Kandy spayed the other day, I had to rethink my program or end up with a house full of spayed dogs and two horney males. My husband and I talked it over and decided to let her go while she is young . yes, someone that rarely posts on Yt is getting her.

Awwww Dee I am sorry, I don't know how your doing it...I am really having a hard time just thinking about finding homes for the little ones, I don't know if I can do it...I will say a prayer for you...She will be great, but I know its your heart that will be hurting for awhile..but Muriel is right, you are going to be a hero to some family....:)

Yeah I can understand that, It must be so hard to let them go. I dont think I could. Atleast the new momma is a member here and we can watch her grow. shes a cutie pie.

Wow, reading this you're making me wonder how I will be able to do the same thing x4 after my Lexie whelps and her babies are old enough to go to their forever homes. My husband just asked me today how I thought I would handle that time when it comes. I'm sure it's going to be pretty hard.

Surprisingly, I am not one of these people that cry when the puppies leave. it is so much easier for me. the puppies are full of playfulness and joyful and the new familes are starting with a brand new babie that they can mold into what they want it to be to bring joy to their family. This little girl is 20 months old and I have had her since nine weeks. She is VERY attached to us but loves everyone that comes in my door and is all over them. Likewise, we are very attached to her. That is why it is so hard.

Thank you Karen, it was a sudden decision. We had someone that wanted her and will spoil her to death and we moved very fast on it before we had a chance to change our mind. Hadn't planned it at all but with Kandy being spayed recently as well, I knew I had to do something. She is on the plane already and I am home from the airport.

thanks everyone. I do feel a little better this afternoon. her new mama called. She arrived safe and sound to Florida and everyone is crazy over her and her over them. She has already been giving lots of kisses. That makes me feel a little better but it is still sad around here. Everything I do for the others or everywhere I look, I see her little face.

I'm the lucky YT member who got Dixie. My husband and I have decided to call her Hannah. She arrived safe and sound this afternoon. She is soooo precious. She gets along great with the cat. She is the only dog in the house, so I can assure you she will be spoiled rotten. I got her first dress from MyFairLacy and it arrived yesterday, just in time for Hannah's homecoming. Since she's used to being "naked" I didn't want to put her through anymore trauma by having her try on clothes today. That will be for tomorrow (shhhhh she doesn't know that she'll be modeling tomorrow). My husband works on Saturdays so when he got home from work today, she was laying on my lap on the sofa and her ears perked up and she growled at him as he got close to her. She warmed up to him about an hour later. She's sleeping on the sofa right now, since she's had a long day. I'll be posting pics of her tomorrow so everyone can see how beautiful she is.

Thanks Dee, for all you've done. She really is a beautiful little girl.

there you are finally!!!!!!!!! soooooooooo she isn't going to be Lil Fart anymore. i like Hannah but I have placed my bet (If I were a betting woman) that she won't answer to it.;) i am so glad she has such a wonderful home. i will look for pictures as soon as I get in from church tomorrow.

Dee- I am so sorry for the feeling of something missing. I am sure in time your other furbabies will fill that gap just a bit. You have done what you have felt is best for your baby. I hope that healing comes fast.

FlaYorkieGal- I am so happy that she is fitting into your family. I hope that you are on here more so that we can see wonderful pictures of this beautiful baby. Congrats.
