humping driving me crazy! Molly is only 3.5 mths old and she is humping all her toys. Why so early? Has anyone else had this problem this early? And she wont poop on her pee pee pads. She goes pee pee on it great but she poops on the floor. Thanks for any help! |
The humping is a dominance thing...she's most likely going to be a dominant girl |
My guys hump around 9pm every night. There we are, my hubby and I, laying in bed reading - and there are our 2 yorkies with their "lovers" (stuffed), humping away. We elect not to try to stop it bc their nature is driving them to do it, for whatever reasons. And they also find it soothing, we can tell. Luckily, they have never tried to hump humans. I figure they respect our "sex lives", so I owe them the same in return. LOL. |
I know it is natural but I just didnt think at 3.5 mths old. She is just a baby! |

Well all I can say is it is embarassing when my grandchildren and their friends ask what's wrong with Murfee when his ding dong is dragging the ground:D |
That is soooo funny!!:p I am glad Molly is a girl!! |

That is around the same time Teddy will do his humping. It's hilarious because he has to jump on top of me. I push him off, and then for whatever strange reason, after I've said no, and he stops then he has to chew on the cover for at least 45 minutes as if to stop himself from doing it again. |
i suggest you try and stop it with a firm "NO" and maybe a tap on the butt before it gets worse... |
Cody started a few weeks after i got him he was 4 months at that time... I thought the same thing why so early??? He humps his loofah dog and his pillow. he does it a little during the day.. and its a routine every night when we go to bed. he humps and then he finishes and settles down .. we go on to sleep. its gross but i turn my head away and give him his privacy. |
My Buzz started at about 4 months. It all got started by an Octopus Toy! http://www.petlithographs.com/shopca...ctopus-toy.jpg What happen was he went to grab it and some how missed and went over it and well he was like  That felt good :D. I was  and  He then he started up on the Pluto I got him as a sleeping buddy, then the Buzz plush. I've taken the Toys away but not untill after his snip snip. I thought that after the snip he would stop but it hasn't, he will from time to time try to hump on anything that can reach his....:dalmation I think there is not much we can do about nature.:wink5: |
Ughhh... My Riley is 4 months and hes just starting to do it. The only bad thing is he tries to hump my arm. Grrrrr... He tries to hump my boyfriend's leg too. I just tell him NO and he stops. He has only done it like 4 times, so hopefully he won't get any worse. Lol. |
