Hi Everyone! Hi everyone, I just joined and wanted to introduce me and my "buds". I'm anniejo, live near Gainesville,Tx. I have been so blessed to have been "owned" and loved by several beautiful, wonderful yorkies in my lifetime. At present, my constant companion is Princeton of Crownpoint, aka Prince. Prince is a 12 year old yorkie male and he is a toot! I'm very saddened to realize prince is getting up there, (me, too) he doesn't hear or see as well as once (me,neither), but he's still my big man in a little body! I also have Angel, the sweetest and gentlest dog I've ever known. She is a 10 year old Austrailan Shepard female. Angel and Prince share a real special bond, in fact, when I take one of them somewhere and come home, they act more glad to see each other than seeing me! I have 4 horses also, ages 6,10,15, and 26 years. I've bored :D everyone enough, just want to say I'm very glad to find YT.:) |

some more info Hello Again; I just have one 12 year old male Yorkie, but I've had several others thro my lifetime. He's not crazy about the little kids that run at him and tries to pick him up. When I was giving horse riding lessons there have been several little brothers or sisters that came along and because he is small he's the one that they want to play with. I watch very very close and if there is a problem, at their next lesson I ask him to stay in the house and take a nap. He doesn't like it because he knows I'm out there and might get into trouble and need him, however, he's very good and does what I need him to do. That only happened a few times over all the time I gave lessons.I have been at home for 5 weeks on short term medical, so all the animals have gotten used to me being here. We all are going to hate me going back (10-29) to work, but we got to put feed, hay, and doggie food on the table! Thanks so much for your welcomes, y'all are nice!;) |
Welcome to YT!!:wavey: I just love the way you describe your daily life, teachings, etc. with your animals... like a regular Mrs. DoLittle.:) Hope the medical leave was not due to anything too serious. You must post pics of your whole 4-legged entourage; I can just imagine how adorable little Prince must look prancing around amongst the Big Fellas. Can't wait to see pics, Lauren |
