I just finished wiping up my kitchen floor on my hands & knees. Normally, I keep Basil gated out while I'm doing it, but he was asleep on the couch when I started, so I didn't bother to put the gate up.

The SECOND that he heard the rag hit the water, Baz was right there. He was walking on his back legs in front of my face the entire time I was wiping the floor, either licking my glasses or sticking his tongue up my nose!:eek:

Do all of your furbabies torture you when you clean?:animal36

Unfortunately, yes. Sorry! Gizmo always wants to know what I'm doing when I'm on the floor. If I'm on the floor, it MUST be playtime. :D And boy is it playtime when I'm folding clothes! :rolleyes:

Coby doesn't understand you guys at all! He says he KNOWS it's playtime whenever his mommy is on the floor! And sometimes she brings weird toys to play with like feather dusters, rags, paper towels, and stuff!! :D

Definitely play time!!!! :) Bella's kisses are the only reason I clean the floor sometimes!!!

When I start cleaning Chip will come check it out, and see if there is anything in it for him. When I start to vacuum or swiffer he immediately finds a place out of the way.

When I am cleaning Deiter will being me all of his toys right in front of my feet. Now the morning, I was sick throwing up, Deiter was all over my legs, crying, barking, He knew something was wrong but not sure what. Had never seen that. So he goes and gets one of his kibbles and brings that to me and keeps pushing it over by my knees, Bless his heart.

We have two and it is so funny to watch my husband do push ups. We see how many he gets away with before it starts. My older one just lies down under his face so she can get him on the down side.

omg your dog's name is Basil?!?! my boy yorkie's name is Bazil too! ive never heard of anyone else with that name! my family thought i was weird for naming him that! haha im glad someone else has a yorkie named Bazil too!:)

Of course, Vinnie has to help! He has to be everywhere Mommy is and doing everything Mommy is! It does get annoying I must admit, but at the same time, he loves me and I love having him help! haha, well, kindof!

How cool! My family thought I was nuts, too. My DH is English and we thought that since he was a YORKSHIRE terrier, he should have a good English name. I always loved John Cleese as Basil Fawlty on Fawlty Towers, so we named our boy after him! The name just suits him, though most of the time we just call him Bazzy or Baz!
