This is very exciting...Hubby and I are just thrilled for you and your "Lazy Pia"!!! We can say "We knew her when..."!!! Can't wait to hear more details about her being discovered and what the plan is. She has to be THE most photogenic Yorkie around...we just love her...seriously!!! Please tell us more, when you hear more...Pia, you are gorgeous...and you know it!!!

All I can say is CONGRATS to your SUPA-STAR!:)

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. :D Yesterday I called and the main person I need to talk with isn't going to be there until tomorrow. :rolleyes: I did however find out that Pia will be in a comercial. She won't be doing much at all (I hope) and it's not going to be a comercial for anything pet related. She will pretty much be a prop. :p Pia the prop, kinda made me laugh, LOL!! However, this is how the lady explained it to me.

I did find out that I will have to take Pia there sometime next month. They actually want to take pictures of her themselves. Since this is all new and I've never had her there she needs a portfolio. (ok that sounds so funny to me) I was told they will take numerous pictures. Many without clothing except for bows. I am allowed to take 3 outfits of my choice that they will take of her wearing but they do focus on the pets in a more natural way.

I am really nervous about all of this now. Pia is a very timid girl around strangers. The thought of flashing going off non-stop and scaring her is freaking me out. I know me and there is no way I will be able to watch her that scared. I was telling the lady all this and she said the person taking the pictures is used to this when it comes to animals, so I need to calm down. :cool: However, she doesn't know Pia. :(

Anways, Pia will go next month for the picture session and then sometime in late January or the begining of Feb. the commercial will be shot. I have no idea of when the commercial will air or where. I never realized that everyone doesn't have the same commercials. It's actually up to differen't stations ( I think she said stations :confused: )to pick and choose what they wish to air. I just really hope its aired in the PA and MD areas. :D Only because I am from PA but now live in MD.

Ok, that is about all I know for now. I will get exact dates for everything tomorrow and then I just have to cross my fingers that Pia doesn't freak. Thanks everyone for being so nice and supportive. Pia sends all of you little kisses. ;)

that is great!!!! that's funny, Pia the prop! but we know she's much more than that :) I'm sure the photo shoot will go great and maybe all this will open doors for new oppotunities :) then, she will be Pia, the superstar :D

That is so awesome!!!! I'm sure they will give you a copy of the tape their airing. you are the parent! I hope it airs everywhere i would love to see!!!

baby no wonder they picked her.
Please let us all know when it will be aired in hopes we can catch it.
I would be just like a stage mother. Practice with her maybe with a flashlight
in her face, not directly, and turn it on an off for her not to be frightened when in front of the lights. Stage mother's do all sorts of things to get
their kids to behave and act when on stage. Pia can do it too.
Practice makes perfect.

oh Dina am just now reading this and I sooooo very happy for you and PIA . . .you know I have a special liking to that little princess of yours :) . . .she has one of the most adorable faces so it is no surprise she will be a STAR . . .Props? who cares, in my book, she is a STAR :) :) :) Oh I wish it will be aired in WA then I can brag to all my friends that I know her :D :D :D

....I'm thinking like Archie........maybe keep taking her to different friends homes and have them set something up before you get there....just has to be simple ....then snap a few shots and give her lots of treats or toys.......start out w just a few pics and build up to as close to the studio as you can get.......hey, commercials now ....movies down the road...........go for it!!!

Watcha mean Pia will be a PROP????? Oh, how little these "photog folk" know of our Yorkies!!!;) I mean seriously, don't they realize Princess Pia is simply gonna steal the show?!:cheer:
And as for the portfolio - Girl, don't you know that every super-model needs one? :yeahthat:
Ooh... this is just getting sooooo exciting. When you choose outfits, don't forget that adorable li'l hat with the Daisy - it totally sets off her flawless complexion.:2puppy:

I'm so excited for you and Princess Pia! How much fun is TV! Not that many yorkie princesses get to be on TV too! :p

I think you should defnitely have one of her outfits include shoes-those little Mary Janes are just adorable on her! I also like her in her PJ's...
