Strollers, quite the new fad! I've only seen a few strollers in stores and online, and I have heard many YT members talk about theirs. Well, I wanna see pictures!! Trust me, I'm not one of those who is gonna make fun of anyone using them; I think it is a GREAT idea! I'd just like to see different styles and hear other people's stories about them. It seems like it might be a good solution for my Tiny Tina that doesn't like to walk very far! And, it is immediate protection from other dogs and nosy people! POST AWAY!!! |
2 Attachment(s) Here's Madeleine's stroller. We don't use it all the time because she likes to walk but in big crowds it comes in very handy! |
I would like to hear other YT members reviews as well! (And of course pics are even better!:D ) |
OMGosh that is SO cute! Does it have something to completely enclose the stroller? I've seen some that are completely enclosed. |

What a cute stroller! |
Yeah, it does zip up all the way but Madeleine prefers to be "out in the open" so I had my boyfriend attach a leash inside that I can hook to her harness so that she can ride without it always zipped up. |
4 Attachment(s) I love mine, All 3 of mone can fit in but it is a little tight when my pom is in it. The 2 yorkies are great in it. |
I'm wondering what type of response do you get from people when using a yorkie stroller? How often do you really use it? My dogs love to walk, there are a few times it would be fun to have them along in a crowd & a bag seems to confining -- but I'm not convinced. Not afraid of what people would say, but I'm sure there are comments. I would be more concerned that it would so seldomly be used. I've been thinking about buying a carseat & I recently say on ebay - supposedly a one-of-a-kind design for a convertible dog stroller & car seat. |
1 Attachment(s) I love mine. It's a life saver. |
3 Attachment(s) heres my boys :D |
1 Attachment(s) Zoey "under" her stroller. |
Some people laugh but most think it is cute. I really don't like mine on the ground in a setting where there are a lot of other dogs for several reasons, they could get hurt or catch something. I am a bit neurotic with their health!!lol It works for me! |
I really need to get one!! |

Here are more pics of strollers from a thread I started a while back - this should also give you more info. :D http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...oller+pictures |
I dont have one but I was looking for a car seat for Roxy and Petco has a 3 in one stroler. It is a stroler, carrier and also a car seat. They have it online too. |
1 Attachment(s) I love the stroller. It comes in handy when we are in crowds. This way I don't have to worry about Diddy getting stepped on. Here is a pic of Diddy in his stroller. |

I have the Happy Trails Pink Stroller by Pet Gear and I love it! I use it at the mall, used it at a dog show, and have used it if we're going to be walking for a long time because Lacy will get tired eventually and just lay down and not move. It's nice to have for events |
luv my strollers I have two strollers, absolutely luv ours, being in Florida and going to flea markets a lot, even for fresh veggies, gets the dogs out with us, we each push one, we have 4 yorkies. Three will fit in one, if we walk one or put one in a pouch. The baskets under the strollers holds lots of goods we buy also. So many times, people allow theire children to just run up to them, and catch me off guard. So this way they are protected. So many stollen yorkies also. So that alone makes one feel a tad safer. I also have car seats, they are just use to them and we feel safer while driving in heavy traffic, they are not all over the place. They feel as safe in the car seats as a kennel in a strange place, it is theirs and they know it... What happens when you have no kids ah....[/B] I do not care much who laughs at me. I have not had many that did actually, but strollers are popular I think because of so much you can do with dogs in Florida. :-) |
I also have two strollers. One is kind of a square, that closes all the way around. I use it when I'm taking just one to the vet or out for the day or to shift a litter when I'm cleaning the expen. The other is a larger jeep variety stroller that has a basket underneath; a place to put your keys, soda can, etc. I like that stroller to use at dog shows--plenty of room for Itzi or Beauty to sleep when we are at show. I worry about puppies being stolen or people handling the dogs when I don't want them touched, the strollers put up a barrier that I think is needed. Just my opinion. |
